Compact Arena With Verticality
Rust is a small and compact classic map filled with cover and obstacles. In its center is a tower that players can scale for a good view of the whole battlefield. Be careful though, if you can see them, they can see you!

Geographical Tips
Use The Perimeter!
You can safely go around the map by using the perimeter. Rust's outer edges are protected by numerous covers, hiding you and keeping you safe from fire from across the map. However, be warned that enemies can use these areas for ambushes.
Climb For Good Vantage
The center of Rust features a climable tall structure that can give you a good overall view of the battlefield when scaled. Note that climbing the structure leaves you very exposed from multiple angles.
Area Around The Tower Is No Man's Land
The area between the perimeter and the tower has little cover, making it easier for enemies to shoot at you from both sides. Make sure that you are safe first before you cross!
Loadout Tips
Bring Assault Rifles & SMGs
Assault Rifles give you more range if you plan on climbing the middle tower. SMGs can give you the edge when traversing the outer perimeter as it allows you to do damaging hip-fires on the go.
Check Out All Weapons Here!Claymores Are Effective
The numerous corners and hiding spots are good locations to plant Claymores. Use them to impede trackers and would be pursuers.
