Save Data Is Automatically Carried Over When You Start the Full Game

When you start the full game of FF16, the above screen will appear and the demo save data will be automatically carried over. Therefore, there is no need to do anything special to transfer the data.

No Rewards for Playing the Demo

Playing the demo does not give you any bonus items, but only allows you to carry over your saved data to the full game and start playing from that continuation. If you play the full game without downloading the demo, you will not lose anything.

FF16 Demo Content

You Can Try Out About 2.5 Hours Of The Beginning Of The Game

The FF16 demo allows you to play about 2 to 2.5 hours of content at the beginning of the game in exactly the same conditions as the full game. Allowing you to learn about the world of FF16 and experience the events that will start the journey of the main character, Clive.

Playable Only On PS5

The only supported hardware for FF16 is PS5 at this time, so naturally, the demo version can only be played on PS5.

Demo Save Data Can Be Carried Over To The Full Game

The saved data from the demo version can be carried over to the full game. So if you purchase the full game, you will be able to continue playing from the demo.

However, playthrough data from the Eikonic Challange mode described below will not be carried over to the full game.

Eikonic Challange Mode Is Unlocked Upon Completion of the Demo

After clearing the demo version, the "Eikonic Challange" Mode will be unlocked. In this mode, you can play with a character that has been trained to a certain degree, allowing you to experience Abilities and other battle elements in more depth.

It Can Be Played From the Title Menu

The Eikonic Challenge mode will be automatically unlocked upon completion of the demo. This mode will be added at the bottom of the title menu screen.

Demo File Size is 18.69 GB

The FF16 demo version file size is 18.69 GB; so if you need more storage, go to the home screen and select Settings > Storage > Console Storage to delete unnecessary data.

How To Download the FF16 Demo on PS5

	Select "PlayStation Store" on the home screen.
	Select "Final Fantasy XVI Demo" at the top of the store. *If it does not appear here, search for Final Fantasy 16 or FF16 in the upper right corner.
	Select "Final Fantasy XVI Demo".
	Select "Download".
	Once download is complete, you can play!
