Should You Pull for Sung Jinwoo and Cha Hae-In?

Pull Sung Jinwoo if You Need a Magic Attacker

Sung Jinwoo

Sung Jinwoo is a Magic attacker with a diverse range of offensive options, featuring a unique trait where his DPS increases as the battle progresses. While he can be replaced by other Magic attackers, he is a solid choice if you are looking to bolster your Magic hero roster.

Viable at T0

He is relatively easy to use even at 0 Transcendence (T0). However, at T2, the level-up cap for his passive increases from 30 to 40, and at T6, he gains Damage Nullification upon revival along with an immediate Level 10 boost. Transcend him if you want to maximize his DPS and durability.

One Copy Guaranteed via Login Rewards

You can definitely obtain one copy of Sung Jinwoo through the Solo Leveling Collaboration Login Event. If you only plan to use him at T0 or just want to collect the hero without further Transcendence, you do not necessarily need to pull from the gacha.

Pull Cha Hae-In if You Need Tower Specialists

Cha Hae-In

Cha Hae-In is a hero who excels in the Infinite Tower and Tower of Trial as a Cooldown Reduction specialist, recommended for those who want to clear these towers efficiently. While Velika provides Cooldown Reduction on basic attacks, Cha Hae-In triggers it upon skill activation, allowing more flexible planning.

T2 is Recommended, T6 is Strong

At T2, she gains an All-Target Healing effect upon skill activation, allowing her to serve as a healer and increasing her overall utility. T6 is not mandatory, but it improves the cycle rate of her Cooldown Reduction, making it a viable target if you prioritize maximum efficiency in Tower content.

One Copy Guaranteed via Login Rewards

Cha Hae-In can also be obtained for certain on the second day of the Solo Leveling Collaboration Login Event. If you do not intend to pursue Transcendence, pulling the gacha is not required.

Cha Hae-In is highly recommended for Tower of Trials and Infinite Tower due to her ability to reduce the cooldown of allies and increase Effect Hit Rate. She can also find some usage in Guild War and other PvE content where Debuff Removal and Paralysis are needed.

Sung Jinwoo's Impact on the Meta

Expanded Choices for Magic Team Attackers

Sung Jinwoo serves as a new option for attackers in Magic teams. While he is unlikely to drastically shift the current PvE or PvP meta, he provides more flexibility when constructing party lineups.

Back-Row for Total War Tank Teams

Due to his trait of increasing DPS as the battle goes on, he is worth considering as an attacker for Tank and Sustain teams in Total War. He is also easy to slot into various teams because he does not have restrictive composition requirements common among recent attackers.

Cha Hae-In's Impact on the Meta

Increased Efficiency in Tower Content

Cha Hae-In is a highly recommended hero for Tower content. By replacing or pairing her with Velika, you can significantly improve clearing efficiency. Her ability to serve as both a Cooldown Reduction unit and a healer at T2 is particularly excellent.

Sung Jinwoo Team Setup and Alternatives

Recommended Magic Party Composition

Since he possesses a passive that boosts Magic Damage Dealt for allies, he performs best within a Magic party. Supplementing his survivability with Melia's barrier or Yu Shin's utility is also recommended.

Alternative Heroes include Yeonhee and Other Magic Attackers

Sung Jinwoo shares similar performance traits with Yeonhee in terms of Ignore Defense, Max HP-Based Damage, and boosting Magic Damage Dealt, making her the primary alternative. Other wide-range Magic attackers like Freyja are also viable alternatives.

Cha Hae-In Team Setup and Alternatives

Best for Tower Content

Rather than relying on specific character synergies, Cha Hae-In should be used in the Infinite Tower or Tower of Trial whenever you need to increase the skill rotation of your allies. Her value is determined more by the content she is used in than by specific team compositions.

Alternative Hero is Velika

Velika

The primary alternative for Cha Hae-In is Velika, who also provides Cooldown Reduction in Tower content. The main differences are that Cha Hae-In triggers her reduction upon skill use and can provide All-Target Healing.
