The boss inflicts Bleed and Petrify. Going in unprepared puts you at a serious disadvantage, so be sure to include heroes with Bleed Immunity and Petrify Immunity.

1. Defeat Kotan with Buff Removal

While the 4 Kotan that Ox King summons at the start are still alive, damage barely gets through to Ox King, so you need to take out the Kotan first. Kotan have Damage Resistance that blocks most damage, so defeat them with Buff Removal instead.

2. Attack After Buffing/Debuffing

Buff or debuff first to boost your Attacker's damage output before attacking. Since Ox King has high HP, heroes with Target's Max HP-Based Damage can deal massive damage. In particular, Espada and Snipper, whose damage increases after defeating 4 enemies, make excellent Attacker choices.

Tips!	Ox King has 0 Defense, so Defense debuffs are unnecessary. If you want to use a debuff, go with something other than Defense, like Magic Vulnerability.

3. Rebuild Your Team Before the Next Summon

After your Attacker's turn, use the window before the next Kotan summon to restore your team with HP recovery, buffs, or debuffs and get set up. Once the Kotan are summoned again, just repeat from step 1 onward.

Progress Through Enhancement and Rank Up

Clearing high-difficulty content requires investing in Enhancement and Rank Up. If you're struggling to clear it, build up your team members by enhancing them to +5 or Ranking them up.

The Ring of Resurrection is best for support heroes, while a Boss Ring works well for attackers. That said, if your attacker keeps getting killed midway through, equipping a Ring of Authority is also a solid option.
