The Tower of Trial currently underway is Season 16. In Season 16, the Tower of Trial's enemy placements are the same as Season 14, but their stats and clear patterns have been adjusted upward. The Medal rewards have also been adjusted upward to match.

Walkthrough for Difficult Floors

Floor 1: Counter Skill 2 With Sunran

You need to make sure your back row doesn't get knocked out by Snipper's Skill 2 on Floor 1. You could use Taunt from Li or Ryan, but since it's a Pierce attack that ignores Physical Attack Reduction, it's best to tank it with Sunran's Upper Hand, giving her the highest Attack in your team.

Floor 2: Attack With Shane or Sun Wukong

On Floor 2, you can either push through with damage centered on Shane/Sunran/Fai, or attack while healing with Sun Wukong. The enemy generates a Barrier, so strip it with a Buff Removal skill from Sunran, Fai, or Daisy.

Floor 3: Push Through With Damage or Play It Safe

If you can defeat Clops and Knox before they land Stun and Death (2 uses) respectively, you can aim for a quick clear with a damage-focused Magic team. With well-built heroes, a 12-turn clear is possible using Yoongun↑↓ and Daisy↑↓.

Xiao and Evan for a Safer Approach

Since the enemy uses Death and Stun, countering with Xiao and Evan makes for an easier, safer clear. Using Sun Wukong as your Attacker lets you fight while healing, which also works for a longer battle.

Bring Crit Buff Holders on Floor 4

On Floor 4, bring Nezha and Yoongun, who have a Crit Rate Boost passive, and push their Crit Rate to 100%. Even if you're hit with Crit Rate Reduction, their passive buff still makes Crits likely.

Using a 5-Magic-type team with Reginleif also gives you access to Debuff Removal.

Tips!	Raising Crush with Dedicated Equipment makes Crits even more likely. Since Yoongun is also used in PvP, raising his Crush is especially worthwhile.

4F - Additional Rules

Floor 5: Speed Order Matters

On Floor 5, chip away at HP with Biscuit↑ followed by Lu Bu↑. If you can position Lu Bu and Bai Long as 4th and 5th in Speed order and finish off the enemy front line, a 12-turn clear is possible using Bai Long↑↓.

Fai is best if you're aiming for a quick clear, but swap in Guan Yu if you need to deal with Death or Sleep.

Tips!	A 12-turn clear requires a high bar of equipment and investment, so if it's difficult, try adding Lu Bu↓ or Fai↑ skills instead.

5F - Additional Rules

Floor 6: Remove Camouflage With Lu Bu, Then Attack the Boss With Bai Long

On Floor 6, a 10-turn clear is possible using Biscuit↓, Lu Bu↑, and Bai Long↑ skills. If Bai Long isn't built up enough to finish the fight with a single Camouflage Removal, swap in Kyle for a 2-Attacker wide-range setup for more stability.

Floor 7: Counter HP Alteration With a Barrier

On Floor 7, bring Xiao, who generates a Barrier, to counter HP Alteration. Adding Lu Bu greatly increases the Barrier's durability. The Barrier won't always be up in time, so it's reassuring to equip a Ring of Resurrection on a front-line hero other than Lu Bu.

A 12-Turn Clear Is Also Possible

With well-built heroes, a 12-turn clear is possible using Xiao↓, Biscuit↓, and Bai Long↓↑. In that case, a Ring of Resurrection on your front line isn't essential. Equip your Physical heroes — Xiao, Lu Bu, and Bai Long — with a Boss Ring instead.

A Safer Approach: Bring Burn Immunity or a Healer

If you'd rather play it safe, bring Yui as both a Burn countermeasure and a Healer. This increases the turn count, but adding another Healer like Alice or a Barrier-user like Evan and always keeping up Continuous Healing or a Barrier makes for a more stable clear.

Floor 8: Attack While Keeping Your HP High

On Floor 8, when HP drops to 30% or 50%, a hero is inflicted with Absolute Zero: Freeze and becomes unable to act for a long time. Sunran, thanks to her Upper Hand, doesn't take much HP damage so Avenger equipment is fine for her, but the other 3 front-line heroes should wear Gatekeeper equipment to raise their durability.

A Safer Approach: Bring a Healer or Barrier

The team above has no Healer, so it isn't suited to a long battle. If a quick clear is difficult, use a Healer or a Barrier-generating hero to keep your HP near full at all times while attacking in between.

8F - Additional Rules

Floor 9: A Difficult Floor

Kagura has extremely high HP and damage, and also has Indomitable (50 uses), making this a difficult floor where you need to manage your HP while defeating her within 200 turns. Depending on your Transcendence level and equipment, you can be defeated quickly, so thorough preparation is necessary.

The basic flow is to strip Damage Reduction with Heavenia's and Velika's Buff Duration Reduction while attacking with Bai Long, then strip Indomitable mainly through Bai Jiao's Poison and Bleed. The boss hits hard, so it's reassuring to raise your front line's durability with Gatekeeper equipment.

Floor 10: Bring Block Rate Reduction

Floor 10's boss, Platin, has a 70% Block Rate and deals up to 1,500 Fixed Pierce Damage on every successful Block. Push everyone's Crit Rate close to 100% with passive buffs and equipment, and counter with Catty's Block Rate Reduction.

Tips!	Catty's ability to inflict Unable to Recover is also a great fit here.

Watch Out for HP Alteration Skills

Since the boss uses HP Alteration skills, it's reassuring to put a Ring of Resurrection on heroes that are easily knocked out, like Catty. If the fight drags on, it's also fine to swap Sunran's slot for a Healer like Lina.

What is the Tower of Trials?

Clear Floors to Collect Medals and Rewards

The Tower of Trials is a PvE content where you can earn rewards such as Rubies and Hero Summon cards based on the number of medals you obtain. You get medals by defeating all enemies on a floor, allowing you to proceed to the next one.

Tips!	To challenge the Tower of Trials, you must first clear up to floor 100 of the Infinite Tower. The Tower of Trials has 20 floors.

One Season is 4 Weeks Long

The Tower of Trials is season-based, with each season lasting four weeks. When a new season starts, there will be changes to some enemy placements and medal acquisition conditions.

Additional Rules: Number of Obtained Medals Change

In the Tower of Trials, you can apply additional rules. Applying buff rules to strengthen allies makes it easier to clear, but you will get fewer medals. Conversely, applying debuff rules makes it harder to clear, but you will get more medals.

Aim to Clear First

You can re-challenge floors you have already cleared in the Tower of Trials. While it's best to collect all 6 medals from the start, it's also okay to aim for a full clear first and then come back to collect the remaining medals later.

Orchestrator Equipment and Debuff Removal Are Useful

Some floors have additional rules that can incapacitate you with effects like Petrify. When these rules are active, you will need to remove the status effects by using heroes with the corresponding status effect Damage Immunity, or with Debuff Removal skills like Elysia equipped with Orchestrator gear.

Tips!	With the 4-Set Effect (Crowd Control Immunity) of Orchestrator equipment, you can avoid initial status effects.

HP Alteration and Death Do Not Work

In the Tower of Trials, HP Alteration does not work, so heroes with HP Alteration skills like Freyja are less effective. Similarly, Death effects also don't work, making Death-focused parties unsuitable for the Tower of Trials.

Use Other Players' Clear Information as a Reference

In the Tower of Trials, you can view other players' clear party information from the Clear Info button in the bottom left of the party formation screen. If you're stuck on team composition, copying a team from the Clear Info is a viable option.

Velika's Cooldown Reduction on Basic Attack is Powerful

Velika can reduce the cooldowns of all allies with her Basic Attack only in the Infinite Tower and Tower of Trials, making her often a key hero for conquering the Tower of Trials. She is one of the heroes you'll definitely want to train for this content.

Barrier-Generating Heroes

Hero	When to Use
Daisy	When you want Magic Attack Boost, Buff Removal support, and Barrier generation at the same time(requires T2)
Evan	When you want to increase durability with a Barrier + Defense Boost passive.
Asura	When you want to generate Barriers or apply Focus Target repeatedly.

In the Tower of Trials, there are often floors where HP management with Barriers is essential. Heroes like Asura, who has a short cooldown on her Barrier generation, have their own strengths, so build your team according to the floor's characteristics.

AoE Healing Heroes

Hero	When to Use
Lina	When you want a healer who can also boost the damage of your attackers.
Alice	When you want a healer who can increase the team's overall durability.
Sun Wukong	When you want a hero who is both an attacker and a healer, or when you want to reduce the enemy's Damage Nullification count.
Yui	When you want to recover with an ally Revive, or when you need Burn Immunity.
Lucy	When you need Debuff Removal.

Battles in the Tower of Trials can often be prolonged, and many floors require a healer. Lina is generally recommended, but if you're using two healers or need to counter specific gimmicks, other healers may be necessary.

Single-Target Focused Attackers

Shane	When Physical attacks are effective, or when using Rachel to reduce enemy damage output.
Pascal	When Magic attacks are effective, or when using Daisy for Barrier generation /Lucy as a healer.
Bai Long	Use Bai Long for multiple Physical Single attacks.
Xiao Qiao	Use Xiao Qiao for multiple Magic Single Attacks or Increase Pascal's DPS.

The Tower of Trials features many single bosses, so single-target attacks are often effective. Shane is recommended if Physical is effective, and Pascal if Magic is effective. Sometimes the choice depends on synergy with other heroes you're using to counter gimmicks.

Status Effect Immunity Heroes

Hero	When to Use
Chloe	When you need Shock Immunity, Unable to Recover, or a Crit Rate Boost.
Feng Yan	When you need Freeze Immunity.
Leo	When you need Death Immunity.
Jin	When you need Silence Immunity.
Cleo	When you need Silence Immunity or when Poison is effective (Raising Speed is effective in the fight against Dellons)

Countermeasures for status effects may be necessary on certain floors. Cleo is particularly useful in the Dellons' fight for her Silence Immunity and her ability to reduce the Damage Nullification count with Poison. Chloe is also sometimes used for her Unable to Recover or Crit Rate Boost.

Versatile Support Heroes

Hero	When to Use
Biscuit	When you want to increase damage dealt to bosses.
Elysia	When Debuff Removal is needed.
Rachel	When you want to reduce the enemy's damage output/durability, or when you want to boost Shane's damage.

Biscuit is used on most even-numbered floors with bosses. Elysia is useful for removing initial status effects like Petrify from additional rules, and Orchestrator gear is recommended for her. Rachel is also an easy-to-use hero when you need debuffs.

Other Heroes Needed for Specific Floors

Hero	When to Use
Bai Jiao	When the enemy has high durability and Poison or Bleed is effective, or when you want to quickly reduce the Damage Nullification count.
Li	When you want to draw single-target Physical attacks with Taunt x Physical Damage Immunity.
Joker	When you want to quickly reduce the Damage Nullification count.

Depending on the gimmicks of each floor, other specific heroes may be necessary. In particular, the gimmick-countering heroes most often needed in the Tower of Trials are Bai Jiao, Li, and Joker. Be sure to train these heroes as well.
