Best Characters for Shadow Kyle
Use Physical Attacks Single Enemies
Shadow Kyle reduces damage taken from magic attacks and double to quintuple-target attacks by 90%, so focus on using single-target physical attackers. Shane is the easiest to deal high damage with and is recommended as the main attacker for Round 1, while Jupy is recommended as the main attacker for Round 2

Basically, buffs and debuffs of the same type don’t stack, so try to build your team with a good balance to avoid overlaps. However, there’s an exception — buffs of the same type do stack if they come from an active skill and a passive skill, so it’s fine to have both on the same team.

He’s a bit of a slow starter, but he’s powerful since he can apply a debuff of up to around 24-32%. Fai can constantly apply 17-20% Physical Vulnerability, but the downside is that all her attacks also inflict Burn on the enemy. This can be beneficial for Shane, whose damage increases based on the number of debuffs on the enemy, but if Kyle removes the debuffs, it will also strengthen his own attacks. |

When Shane reaches T2, she gains a damage boost that stacks up to four times for each debuff on the target. Therefore, it’s crucial to apply debuffs through passive skills that the enemy cannot remove. In the team shown above, applying Defense Reduction with Biscuit and another debuff with either Taka or Fai will grant Shane a constant damage boost of at least 40%.

To achieve a high score, the key is how quickly you can deal 1M damage to Kyle and finish Round 1. That's why Team 1 is composed of characters who can boost Critical damage and Weakness Hit damage.

Kagura has a Crit Damage Boost, but it overlaps with Jupy’s Passive Skill and therefore won’t activate. However, if you can trigger her Indomitable, she’s still worth including in your team. |
Basically, you'll use Jupy’s Skill 1 → Skill 2 in that order to rack up as much damage as possible. If you still have turns remaining before the end of Round 2, try to apply as many buffs and debuffs as possible before activating Jupy’s Skill 2.

Advent Expedition is a Guild cooperative content where players team up with guild members to defeat the God of Destruction and the illusions of the Four Lords of Old. The final boss, the God of Destruction, can only be challenged after all four shadows have been defeated.
