Pallanus is an extremely powerful attacker and supporter for Tank or Death teams. This hero could become a core component in breaking the current disadvantages of running into a magic team, so if you want to power up your Tank or Death teams, this is a hero you'll want to pull for.

Diaochan is an excellent supporter and healer for countering sustain teams in Guild War. Diaochan is not available via gacha, but is a Hero you'll definitely want to get by actively participating in Guild War.
Diaochan - Rating & SkillsPrioritize exchanging for Diaochan over Amelia
If your Amelia is already at Transcendence 6, then exchanging for Diaochan is the only alternative. However, even if she isn't, it's generally recommended to prioritize exchanging for Diaochan. This will make it easier to counter the Sun Wukong teams that are popular in Guild War.

We recommend adding Pallanus to your team when clearing Adventure or the Infinite Tower with a Tank or Death team. Although she has two types of full-team AoE attacks, it is hard to meet the team composition requirements needed for farming, which is why they received the above rating.

Diaochan is a healer and support unit specialized for Guild War. Since her skills can target up to three allies, she is harder to use outside of Guild War. However, this limitation also makes her extremely powerful in Guild War. While the low target count makes her less effective in PvE content overall, she can still be used as a healer in Advent Expedition or Adventure.
Pallanus's Impact on the Meta
Counter to Magic Teams
Pallanus has strong support capabilities for Defense and Support types, so Tank and Death Teams will be powered up. The HP Swap against high-HP enemies is especially effective against Melia, and the Debuff Removal for all allies is especially effective against Mercure. This creates a win condition even against magic teams.
Tank Teams may become Popular
If Tank teams become more common in the meta, Physical teams will become difficult to use. This may lead to a decrease in Physical teams and a shift to a meta centered around Magic and Tank teams.
Sun Wukong for other Teams
In Total War, Sun Wukong is highly sought after in other teams. With Pallanus taking the healer/attacker role in Tank teams, it becomes easier to form other teams with Sun Wukong.
Diaochan's Impact on the Meta
Counter to Sun Wukong
Diaochan's Incoming Healing Reduction, Crowd Control Immunity, and Cooldown Resets are extremely effective against Sun Wukong, who has been rampant in Guild War. As more players get Transcendence 6 Diaochan, Sun Wukong's level of dominance is likely to relatively decline.

Support Hero Alternatives
This is an example of a tank team that utilizes both the Universal 3 Effect from Gelidus and the Defense/Support from Pallanus. It is recommended to choose from multiple Support Hero candidates and form a team according to your own roster.

This is an example of a tank team leaning towards Support types. Depending on your Transcendence, Lina can also be a formation candidate. The biggest advantage of this formation is that the Incoming Healing Boost effect applies to everyone.

AquilaIt also has good synergy with Death teams that have many Support and Defense Heroes. In this case, to increase Pallanus's Damage, it is recommended to place Pallanus in the Back Row with a Protective Formation.

As alternative Heroes, Sun Wukong and Trude, who are also used as attackers in tank teams, can be mentioned. The role is particularly similar to Sun Wukong, who is both a healer and an attacker.
