List of 4★ Fodder Heroes
*The guide team is constantly verifying and updating this information. Using a Hero as enhancement fodder is irreversible, so please consider your choices carefully.
Safe to Use as Fodder
These heroes can all safely be used as fodder materials since there are better alternative heroes to use in content where they are viable.
Fodder Under Certain Conditions

Check if you can consistently clear content relevant to these heroes before using them as fodder. Otherwise, you may want to Transcend and use them as needed!
Transcend Before Fodder
The heroes listed above are particularly useful in certain content. Keep all of your dupes until you have reached the maximum transcendence level before using any extras as fodder.
Fodder Hero Criteria
Fodder Hero Conditions
- Heroes that are Rare or lower
- Maxed out, non-Legendary Heroes
- No valuable abilities like immunities to damage and certain debuffs, or party damage increases.
- You are not struggling with content relevant to that Hero.
- You have a viable substitute hero.
Avoid Feeding Rare or Legendary Heroes

As much as possible, avoid using Rare heroes as enhancement materials. Even if they aren't essential now, there is always a chance that they will be useful someday. Additionally, there are cases where highly transcended Rare heroes are more useful than non-transcended Legendary heroes.
Ruby Farm for Enhancement Materials
Since each Hero has different characteristics, such as Physical, Magical, Support, etc., unless you desperately need fodder right now, you should just go back to Ruby Farming for materials.
Ruby Farming GuideNon-Fodder Heroes
*Excludes cases where you have already maxed out the Hero in question.
Never Use Legendary Heroes as Fodder

Legendary Heroes will always have a use somewhere, and they are very difficult to obtain. Essentially, you should never use them as fodder. Furthermore, if you decide you have no need of a certain Legendary Hero, you can use Crafting to turn them into a different Legendary Hero.
How to Craft HeroesStore Extra Legendaries

Legendary Heroes generally perform better than Heroes from a lower rarity, so even if you don't need them right away, it's recommended to keep them in your Storage. As for Transcendence, there's no need to rush transcending a Legendary Hero until you're ready to use them.
How to Transcend HeroesDon't Use Rare Heroes with Debuff Immunity

In Seven Knights Re:BIRTH, Heroes with passive Immunities
to specific types of damage typically share it with the entire party. For most content in the game, Immunity is absolutely crucial, so you definitely want to keep all of your dupes until you're fully transcended.
Some Heroes Have Different Roles
![]() | Immunity: Freeze Immunity Role: Physical DPS and Defense Reduction |
---|---|
![]() | Immunity: Freeze Immunity Role: Magic Sub-DPS and Status Debuffer |
There are some Heroes that offer the same immunity, but have different roles in your party. Always understand how your Heroes perform before deciding whether or not to use them as fodder. You can also check out our debuff guide below or the in-game codex to see which Heroes have immunities.
