What is Total War?

Battle Other Players With Multiple Parties

Total War is a PvP content where you form multiple parties to battle other players. It unlocks after clearing Adventure 14-50, but it's an advanced content that can only be entered if your previous Arena Rank was Platinum 3 or higher.

Winning in Total War earns you victory points, while losing causes you to lose them. Once your points reach a certain threshold, your rank increases, and you'll receive a large amount of Rubies as a reward. Also, once your rank goes up, it won't drop to a lower rank even if you lose.

Tips!	Just by participating in Total War, you can earn the 200 Rubies reward from the Common rank, so don't forget to enter once the season starts!

You Can Exchange Total War Tokens at the Shop

You can earn Total War Tokens and High Grade Total War Tokens from round rewards and ranking rewards. These tokens can be exchanged for Legendary Hero Summon Cards, Accessory Boxes, and more.

The priority for Total War Shop rewards is as shown above. Rather than items like Key Boxes or Gold that have many other ways to obtain, prioritize items that are harder to come by. Exchange for Extraction Solution as needed when you want to remove options applied through Accessory Refining.

How to Play Total War

First, Build Your Parties

First, build your parties from Team Formation. The number required varies by rank, ranging from a minimum of 2 to a maximum of 5 parties. It's fine to start with just 2 parties, and add more as your rank increases.

Party Building Tips & Team Comp Examples

Skill Queue is Important

In Total War, once the queued skills activate, skills continue to trigger automatically, and you can't select them yourself. Because of this, deciding which skills to set in your Skill Queue is a crucial factor that can determine victory or defeat.

Battles Are Fought Automatically

Total War Schedule

Total War consists of a Preparation → Battle → Result phase flow as one round, repeated for a total of 20 rounds. Once the Battle round begins, battles are fought automatically, and points change based on each party's number of wins and losses.

Tips!	It's similar to Arena defense party battles, and you can also rewatch each battle in the replay.

Useful Heroes Are the Same as in Arena

Examples of Powerful Effects in PvP

• Status Ailments (Shock, Paralysis, Stun, Petrify, Concussion, etc.)
• Healing / Anti-Healing
• Cooldown Increase
• Revival abilities like Immortality, Revive, and Indomitable

Total War is also a 5v5 PvP mode just like Arena, so heroes that are strong in Arena are also strong in Total War. If you're unsure how to build your team, it's fine to use one of your Arena parties as-is for one of your Total War parties.

In Arena, the most commonly used parties are Physical, Magic, Sustain, and Death parties, but since Total War requires up to 5 parties, Status Ailment-focused parties are also commonly used there. Try building whichever of these you can put together from your roster.

If Your Roster is Limited, Ailment Immunity Heroes Are Also an Option

For example, Leo, who has Death Immunity, can gain an overwhelming advantage against Death-focused parties. If you're short on heroes and unsure about that last slot, adding him in can net you better results than expected.
