- A Physical Attacker whose damage increases based on the number of buffs/debuffs on the enemy - Transparent World being always active at Transcendence 6 is extremely powerful in PvP - Cooldown Reset and his skills re-activating on kills are also strong - Delayed Buff can help counter Zenitsu - Also active in PvE thanks to Physical Vulnerability and Burn

A Physical Attacker Who Excels in Both PvP and PvE

A Physical Attacker whose damage increases based on the number of buffs/debuffs on the enemy, and his Transparent World makes raising his Weakness Hit Chance to 100% and turning all his attacks into Piercing attacks extremely powerful. He excels not just in PvP, but in PvE too thanks to Physical Vulnerability and Burn.

Only Obtainable During the Collab Period

Tanjiro Kamado can only be obtained during the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba collaboration period, and will no longer be available once the collab ends. Keep in mind that if you are aiming for Transcendence 6, you will need to do so within the collab period. That said, you are guaranteed to get at least one copy through the collab login event.

Awakening Priority Right After Yoongun

Awakening adds an Awakening Skill that hits a single enemy 4 times and can activate again upon defeating an enemy, while also letting every skill inflict Burn and adding a Cooldown Reset effect to Skill 2. This makes him a stronger, more versatile Attacker, so after Yoongun, he's the next hero you'll want to prioritize awakening.

Excels in the Earth Dungeon

Once awakened, he can inflict Burn not just with his Basic Attack but also with Skill 1 and Skill 2, letting him excel in the Earth Dungeon, where Burn is effective. If you don't have a hero suited for it, this is a great reason to awaken him.

How to Awaken

Their skill enhancement progress carries over even after Awakening. Once Awakened, they can also enhance their Awakening Skill, so be sure to enhance your main heroes.

Ignoring Damage Immunity is Powerful

Transparent World, which raises Weakness Hit Chance to 100% and turns all attacks into Piercing attacks, is powerful, making him extremely strong against heroes with Damage Immunity. At Transcendence 6, he can activate Transparent World from the start of battle, making him a hero who benefits greatly from Transcendence.

Cooldown Reset and Re-Activation Are Also Strong

Defeating an enemy with his post-Awakening Skill 2 triggers Cooldown Reset, and his Awakening Skill can also re-activate, so build him with as much damage as possible to take advantage of this. His Awakening Skill's 4-hit attack is also an excellent counter to Damage Nullification, which is common in the PvP meta.

Can Protect Allies With Delayed Buff

Granting Delayed Buff to an Attack-type ally gives them 3 instances of Damage Nullification and a Physical Attack Boost once the buff expires. This does not trigger from Buff Removal, but it does trigger if the buff is cleared via Buff Duration Reduction, so it can also work as a counter to Buff Duration Reduction heroes like Zenitsu and Yoongun.

Useful in PvE as Well as PvP

Beyond PvP, he is also useful in PvE content like Advent Expedition, where 3-target Physical attacks are effective, thanks to Physical Vulnerability, the Physical Attack Boost from Delayed Buff, and his 3-target, Ignore Defense attack.

Weak Against Multi-Hit Attacks

Tanjiro's drawback is that, since his survivability relies on Damage Nullification and Indomitable, he is weak against heroes that attack multiple times. Also, since his target count varies by skill, while he is versatile, he can be somewhat awkward to use in certain content.
