What We Know So Far About the Demon Slayer Collaboration

Collaboration Event Begins October 1st

Collaboration details with Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba have been revealed on the official forum and YouTube. The Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba collaboration is set to roll out in two parts, on October 1st and October 15th.

This collaboration adds 4 collaboration heroes. Tanjiro Kamado and Zenitsu Agatsuma will arrive on October 1st, followed by Giyu Tomioka and Shinobu Kocho on October 15th.

Nezuko Kamado Can Be Obtained by Playing the Game

The collaboration pet Nezuko Kamado has been revealed to be obtainable simply by playing the game.

In the previous collaboration event (Solo Leveling Collaboration), a limited pet was obtainable through collaboration stage and Power Up event rewards, so it's likely this collaboration's pet will be obtainable the same way.

Collaboration Heroes & Boss Battles Are Coming

The Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba collaboration will add 4 collaboration heroes, starting with the protagonist Tanjiro Kamado, along with multiple Upper Moon demons appearing as bosses. Stay tuned for further details.

Demon Slayer Collaboration Hero Ability Predictions

Tanjiro Kamado

Tanjiro Kamado, the protagonist, is a swordsman who fights using "Water Breathing," taught to him by his mentor, and "Hinokami Kagura," passed down through generations in his family.

Since Hinokami Kagura seals away the regenerative abilities unique to demons, it's likely his kit includes effects like Unable to Recover or Incoming Healing Reduction.

Zenitsu Agatsuma

Zenitsu Agatsuma is a swordsman who fights using only "Thunder Breathing, First Form: Thunderclap and Flash." Since his fighting style overwhelms enemies with pure speed, he can be predicted to be an Attack-type hero with short skill cooldowns.

As for a potential Awakening Skill, his original technique developed later in the story, "Thunder Breathing, Seventh Form: Flaming Thunder God," is also worth expecting.

Giyu Tomioka

Giyu Tomioka is a "Water Hashira" with top-tier skill among the Demon Slayer Corps, and he's known for his unique technique "Water Breathing, Eleventh Form: Dead Calm," which cuts down every attack within its range.

Given the defensive nature of "Dead Calm," he seems likely to be implemented as either a Defense-type hero or an Attack-type hero with an attack-nullifying skill.

Shinobu Kocho

Shinobu Kocho is an "Insect Hashira" who specializes in medical techniques, and she's a swordswoman who defeats demons with poison hidden in her blade. She can be expected to be implemented as a Universal-type hero with DoT effects like Poison, or possibly Death.
