Best Character Tier List & Character Ranking for Seven Knights Re:Birth (7K Rebirth). Use this as reference to know the strongest characters, best heroes and characters in-game.

Sun Wukong

Sun Wukong is a tank–debuffer who can heal the entire team every time he uses a skill, and he can also contribute some damage thanks to his high Crit Rate. He is expected to fit into a wide variety of team compositions, including physical, magic, and tank teams.

At T2, Sun Wukong gains the ability to heal all allies when his HP falls below 50%, further improving the team’s overall stability. At T6, all attacks after using his Change Skill are guaranteed to Crit. While the T6 effect is certainly appealing, in the current PvP meta, building Crit Rate is often more about preventing attacks from being blocked, and Sun Wukong himself is not a character who overwhelms enemies with sheer damage. Because of this, if resources are limited, it’s reasonable to aim for the almost-essential T2 first and then gradually work toward T6 later on.

Sun Wukong Could Be a Tailwind for Tank and Magic Teams

The introduction of Freyja and the revamped Ace initially seemed like it could be fatal for tank teams, but that has not quite been the case, and tank teams have managed to remain strong. With Sun Wukong joining the lineup, their overall power looks set to increase even further.

Sun Wukong’s arrival is also welcome news for magic teams, which tend to be filled with relatively fragile characters. Magic teams had already started to regain momentum after Freyja’s release, and Sun Wukong could provide an additional boost to their resurgence.

On the other hand, primarily physical teams may find themselves facing some difficult decisions. As tank teams rise in prominence, Kyle has been reevaluated more positively, but in order for Kyle to truly shine, a team needs three attack characters. When must-have characters such as Sun Wukong, Trude, and Elysia are included, it becomes difficult to fit three attackers into the same team, forcing players to make tough choices about what to give up.

Gelidus

Gelidus is an attacker built around Extreme Chill, an upgraded version of Freeze. When attacking enemies afflicted with Extreme Chill, the attacking character can recover HP and also deal defense-ignoring damage equal to up to 60% of the target’s Max HP, making it an extremely powerful effect. Because his kit is heavily specialized around Extreme Chill, placing Gelidus on a Guild War defense team often allows opponents to prepare Freeze Immunity, making it likely that he will be unable to perform at his full potential. That said, he can be extremely powerful on Guild War attack teams and in other situations where Freeze is effective.

Gelidus also has Damage Resistance and a Defense-Based Block Rate Boost, and if there are at least three universal characters on the team, he can recover HP up to two times when his HP falls below 50%. Combined with the fact that Extreme Chill enables HP recovery for allies, Gelidus is especially recommended for tank teams.

Melia

Melia has a kit where additional effects are triggered based on the number of magic characters on the team, and she should only be used in teams with at least three magic characters. While this does limit team-building flexibility, the effects gained when running five magic characters are extremely powerful. When there are three or more magic characters on the team, Melia can inflict Crystal Cluster on enemies. Landing four to six hits on enemies affected by Crystal Cluster deals fixed damage and increases their skill cooldowns, making this a highly oppressive effect.

Thanks to her passive skills, Melia boasts exceptionally high defense and HP, making her far tankier than she may initially appear. When the team is composed of five magic characters, she also grants a barrier to all allies every time she attacks, further enhancing the team’s durability. While she lacks the explosive power to wipe out enemies instantly, she is a very strong character who excels at steadily wearing opponents down over time.

Evaluation Criteria

Tier SS

The best characters for each type of content. In PvP, they serve as the core of the current meta teams. In PvE, they are key units that are almost essential for clearing high-difficulty stages (around Stage 9–10 and beyond).

Tier S

Characters that perform extremely well across various types of content. In PvP, they are either essential members of the meta team or strong core units in powerful non-meta teams. In PvE, they can fulfill their roles up to mid-high difficulty stages, though there are usually even more optimal characters for the toughest content.

Tier A

Characters that are still worth including in a team when no Tier SS or S characters are available. They typically have one standout feature—such as resistance to certain debuffs—that makes them situationally effective, but they tend to struggle outside of those specific circumstances.

Tier B

Characters that don’t have any specific traits that stand out for particular content, but can still contribute decently through one aspect such as offense, durability, or support. They aren’t entirely unviable, but are generally not recommended for top-tier team compositions.
