Yoongun (Awakening)

Yoongun is another addition to the Magic Team, boasting a strong 39% HP Alteration, 40% Defense Ignore, and increased damage based on the enemy’s current HP, making him particularly effective against Tank Teams. When paired with Dongyoung, he can further improve the team’s matchup against Tank Teams.

Yoongun also has access to both Buff Duration Reduction and Buff Removal, giving him useful tools against Physical Teams. Due to Sunran’s Passive, increasing his Attack stat is important to prevent his attacks from missing. His innate survivability through Blessing, Crowd Control Immunity, and Debuff Removal also allows him to prioritize offensive stats when building him.

With Trude’s skills reworked, she now fits well into Universal Teams by providing one instance of Debuff Removal after using a skill or performing two basic attacks. This also helps mitigate DoT effects that could otherwise take her out of battle.

Her ability to provide a Barrier and Debuff Removal to the entire team, while still contributing solid damage, should allow her to find a place in Universal Team compositions.

Evaluation Criteria

Tier SS

The best characters for each type of content. In PvP, they serve as the core of the current meta teams. In PvE, they are key units that are almost essential for clearing high-difficulty stages (around Stage 9–10 and beyond).

Tier S

Characters that perform extremely well across various types of content. In PvP, they are either essential members of the meta team or strong core units in powerful non-meta teams. In PvE, they can fulfill their roles up to mid-high difficulty stages, though there are usually even more optimal characters for the toughest content.

Tier A

Characters that are still worth including in a team when no Tier SS or S characters are available. They typically have one standout feature—such as resistance to certain debuffs—that makes them situationally effective, but they tend to struggle outside of those specific circumstances.

Tier B

Characters that don’t have any specific traits that stand out for particular content, but can still contribute decently through one aspect such as offense, durability, or support. They aren’t entirely unviable, but are generally not recommended for top-tier team compositions.
