Radgrid is a character with the potential to push Universal teams and tank teams into the top meta, and can be considered a must-pull character you may regret skipping. First and foremost, her own survivability is extremely high, and at T6, she can significantly improve the durability of back row Universal-type allies as well. For this reason, Radgrid is a character players should actively aim to take to T6.

Radgrid has multiple ways to inflict Piercing Damage and Burn, allowing her to easily defeat Branze & Bransel, who previously served as a core unit for physical teams. In addition, her Skill 1 greatly reduces enemy Crit Rate and Weakness Hit Chance, so physical teams are expected to be at a disadvantage following her release. However, by including a few Utility Heroes and Pets such as Ace and Yu, Physical teams are still able to hold their own.

Magic teams may still have a chance to contest Radgrid thanks to Mercure, who performs well against tank compositions, but even then, defeating her will not be easy. Pallanus is extremely durable when placed in the back row, and since her All Debuff Removal triggers once her HP drops below 30%, controlling this activation timing has become a major challenge for Mercure-based strategies. With Radgrid in the mix, this becomes even more problematic. At T6, Radgrid can apply shields to back row Universal-type allies after taking hits, often preventing Pallanus from being pushed below the 30% HP threshold on turn two or later.

As a result, Mercure players must now carefully engineer early damage windows if they want to avoid having their debuff stacks completely negated.
Using Freyja’s Skill 2 as an opening move can significantly reduce Pallanus’s HP early on. However, if used as the second or third action, Radgrid may apply shields to back row allies such as Pallanus, making it difficult for even Freyja to deal meaningful damage. Players should keep this interaction in mind. This makes it highly important to have a high Team Speed stat and to prioritize queuing Freyja’s Skill 2 early in the match.

Bai Long

Bai Long is a physical attacker capable of dealing extremely high Defense-Ignoring damage to a single target. While he is a powerful character, his Passive Skill increases Magic Damage taken by 90%, which limits the situations where he can perform effectively. He can be difficult to use in the Destroyer’s Gaze Raid, but in Advent Expedition, he stands out as a strong attacker against both Shadow Kyle and the God of Destruction.

Evaluation Criteria

Tier SS

The best characters for each type of content. In PvP, they serve as the core of the current meta teams. In PvE, they are key units that are almost essential for clearing high-difficulty stages (around Stage 9–10 and beyond).

Tier S

Characters that perform extremely well across various types of content. In PvP, they are either essential members of the meta team or strong core units in powerful non-meta teams. In PvE, they can fulfill their roles up to mid-high difficulty stages, though there are usually even more optimal characters for the toughest content.

Tier A

Characters that are still worth including in a team when no Tier SS or S characters are available. They typically have one standout feature—such as resistance to certain debuffs—that makes them situationally effective, but they tend to struggle outside of those specific circumstances.

Tier B

Characters that don’t have any specific traits that stand out for particular content, but can still contribute decently through one aspect such as offense, durability, or support. They aren’t entirely unviable, but are generally not recommended for top-tier team compositions.
