Impact on the Meta

O’Mok is a Magic Hero whose Skill 1 applies a unique buff, “Guardian Spirit,” for two turns. When it expires, all Magic allies gain two turns of All Damage Immunity and Crowd Control Immunity. This also triggers if the buff is removed through Buff Duration Reduction, allowing it to act as a counter to heroes such as Teo, Branse & Branzel, and Pallanus. In addition, the skill provides AoE Debuff Removal and inflicts HP Alteration on the enemy with the highest Defense.

Her Passive grants Camouflage for two turns, reducing incoming damage and preventing debuffs. This helps ensure she can safely apply Guardian Spirit and keep the team protected. At Transcendence 2, the passive also gains a Guts effect for added survivability.

Skill 2 acts as a strong finisher, dealing increased damage based on the target’s Max and current HP. It pairs well with Freyja’s HP Alteration and gains Defense Ignoring effects at T6.

O’Mok is expected to improve the overall survivability of magic teams, which typically struggle against physical compositions, while also giving them better tools to pressure tank teams through HP Alteration. However, her impact may be limited by existing meta threats such as Teo, who can bypass her protection with Buff Duration Reduction and Piercing, meaning her effectiveness will likely depend on team composition and how the meta adapts.

O’Mok is a strong option for Ruby Farming, capable of quickly clearing Nightmare Mode Stage 26 with a Bounty Tracker build. With proper investment, she can one-shot waves using Skill 2, especially when paired with Freyja, making her one of the faster and more consistent farming choices.

Rin

Rin has received a rework that shifts her build toward a Weakness Hit-focused playstyle. When enhanced, Skill 1 deals an additional instance of damage upon landing a Weakness Hit. Her Passive also increases the All Damage Nullification hit count when using a skill and grants a Weakness Hit Damage buff to allies, improving both her survivability and team support in PvE content.

Rin is expected to perform better against physical teams when paired with O’Mok. Thanks to Confusion, incoming damage can be reduced, helping mitigate pressure from physical compositions. However, this effect is negated when enemies land Weakness Hits, which can still result in heavy damage and crowd control. Because of this, pairing Rin with O’Mok to reduce the enemy’s Weakness Hit Chance becomes important, with additional support such as Yorang further improving consistency. Overall, Rin is likely to see increased usage, particularly in PvP scenarios where this synergy can be utilized effectively.

Impact on the Meta

Ruri’s rework focuses on her Passive Skill, which now grants a Weakness Hit Chance buff at base and changes her Transcendence 2 effect to a 48% Weakness Hit Damage Boost. As this type of buff is rare, it gives her a clear advantage over other 3-target damage dealers.

Ruri is expected to remain the go to choice for both Castle Rush and Advent Expedition (Shadow Yeonhee), thanks to her consistent performance and strong scaling when invested.

Evaluation Criteria

Tier SS

The best characters for each type of content. In PvP, they serve as the core of the current meta teams. In PvE, they are key units that are almost essential for clearing high-difficulty stages (around Stage 9–10 and beyond).

Tier S

Characters that perform extremely well across various types of content. In PvP, they are either essential members of the meta team or strong core units in powerful non-meta teams. In PvE, they can fulfill their roles up to mid-high difficulty stages, though there are usually even more optimal characters for the toughest content.

Tier A

Characters that are still worth including in a team when no Tier SS or S characters are available. They typically have one standout feature—such as resistance to certain debuffs—that makes them situationally effective, but they tend to struggle outside of those specific circumstances.

Tier B

Characters that don’t have any specific traits that stand out for particular content, but can still contribute decently through one aspect such as offense, durability, or support. They aren’t entirely unviable, but are generally not recommended for top-tier team compositions.
