- An Attacker and Supporter suitable for Durability/Death parties - Requires at least one Defense type and one Support type to be effective - Can aim for a reversal by Exchanging HP with a high HP enemy - The ability to remove all debuffs from all allies when HP is below 30% is also strong

Attacker and Supporter for Tank/Death Teams

A unique hero whose skill effects change based on the number of stacked Markers placed on enemies. Markers can only be applied when at least one Defense-type and one Support-type hero are in the party, making her especially powerful as both an attacker and supporter in tank/death team comps.

Powerful Skill Effects with 2 Markers

If there is at least one Defense and Support character in the team, you can apply Markers. Each skill gains All-Target Recovery if the enemy has 1 Marker, and Ignore Defense if they have 2. At 6 Transcendence, her Fatal Hit Rate reaches 100%, making her excellent as both an attacker and a supporter.

Aim for a Comeback with HP Swap

She has high durability thanks to her Attack-Based Damage Taken Reduction and Authority, and she can swap HP with the enemy with the highest HP when Authority activates. Depending on the timing, swapping with high-HP characters like Melia can potentially turn the tide of battle.

Strong All-Target Debuff Removal

It is also excellent that she can remove all debuffs from all allies when her own HP falls below 30%. This can be a countermeasure against debuffs that are difficult to fully remove once applied, such as Mercure's Magic Reflux.

Lower Team Composition Flexibility

Pallanus's drawback is that she cannot perform well without at least one Defense and Support character. She competes for slots with characters that require 3 Attack or Magic types, making her a character that is primarily useful in Durability or Instant Death teams.

Counter Healing with Incoming Healing Reduction or Unable to Recover

Pallanus's healing on skill use is troublesome, so including Ace who has the Incoming Healing Reduction Passive, or the pet Yu (pet), is a highly effective counter. Using Kagura or Mercure's Incoming Healing Reduction or Amelia's Unable to Recover skill first is also an option.

Attack with HP Alteration, Magic Reflux, and More

Her durability is high, so it is recommended to attack with special attacks such as Freyja's HP Alteration, Mercure's Magic Reflux, or Branze & Bransel's Execution. However, note that if Guts triggers from HP Alteration on the first move, HP Swap can suddenly put you at a severe disadvantage.

We recommend Assassin to improve Attacker performance, or Gatekeeper to supplement durability. Since the character has Attack-Based Damage Taken Reduction, Vanguard is also an option, but as they cannot utilize the 4-set effect's Effect Hit Rate Boost, it is generally recommended to increase Attack via options.

If you want to enhance firepower, increase Crit Rate with the Assassin set, which also synergizes well with Ignore Defense attacks. Since the character has Attack-Based Damage Taken Reduction, stacking Damage Taken Reduction with Armor Main Stats will make them significantly tougher.

To supplement durability, use Gatekeeper to raise Block Rate. While firepower will be lower than with Assassin, the advantage is that it's easy to balance Damage Taken Reduction and Block Rate, resulting in higher overall durability.
