Features of Magic Team

A Special Attack Party Centered on Magic-type Heroes

The Magic Team is a party centered on Magic-type heroes. Unlike Physical Teams that rely on high raw damage, its Highlight is that it deals damage through special attacks such as Magic Reflux, Crystal Cluster, and HP Alteration.

Strong Against Tank & Sustain Teams, Tends to Be Weak Against Physical Teams

Because special attacks can deal damage regardless of the enemy's durability, it tends to be advantageous against Tank & Sustain Teams. On the other hand, since its own durability is relatively low, Physical Teams may overpower it with brute force.

However, in recent times the Magic Team's damage output and durability have improved, and the matchup is becoming more even.

Representative Magic Teams and Hero Lineup Examples

Party Example with 2 Awakened Heroes

This is a party example featuring the awakened heroes Silvesta and Skuld. If you want to trigger Skuld's Threads of Fate easily, the Attack-type formation is recommended, but the Defense-type formation is also effective if you want to maximize Silvesta's damage output.

TipsTips! If you only want to use one of the awakened heroes, Mist, Mercure, and Sung Jinwoo are alternative candidates.

Must-Have Heroes for Magic Team

HeroHighlight
ReginleifReginleifAn extremely capable supporter-attacker who can boost both the damage output and durability of the Magic Team. While the team composition is restricted, this is a hero you'll definitely want to include.
OO'MokThe Guardian Spirit that can be granted to Magic-type heroes is powerful, making O'Mok a recommended supporter-attacker for the Magic Team.

Other Main Lineup Candidates

HeroHighlight
SkuldSkuldA recommended debuffer for Magic Teams, her Highlight is the high uniqueness of her awakening skills, including Barrier durability reduction and HP Alteration x Unable to Recover.
MeliaMeliaHer strengths include top-class durability stats among all heroes, her unique skill Crystal Resonance, and the Always Active Magic Vulnerability. Magic Bond is already strong with 3 heroes, but with 5 it grants a Barrier, making the entire party more resilient.
RinRinAn excellent Magic-type hero who can reduce enemy damage output with Confusion and Weakness Hit Chance Reduction.
SilvestaSilvestaAn especially recommended strong Magic Attacker for Magic Teams with Ignore Defense. Since the only buff/debuff is Magic Attack Boost on Debuff Removal, having other heroes to compensate will make him even more powerful.
FreyjaFreyjaThe continuous activation of HP Alteration and Buff Removal skills is powerful, making her the top-tier AoE Attacker of the Magic Team.
KyrielleKyrielleHas high debuff resistance and is especially useful in environments with many status effects. Her passive Magic Damage Boost can also contribute to boosting attacker damage output.
Sung JinwooSung JinwooA Magic Attacker whose damage increases the longer the battle goes on. Pairing with Melia or Reginleif to supplement durability makes it easy to leverage his abilities and they synergize well.
JuriJuriThe ability to prevent enemy Revive and Immortality with Souldeath is powerful. It is better to apply it before Freyja's HP Alteration.
MercureMercureMagic Reflux is extremely powerful and synergizes well with heroes who attack many times such as Sun Wukong and Yeonhee. Incoming Healing Reduction is also excellent as a counter to the opponent's Sun Wukong.
VanessaVanessaHer support with Defense Reduction passive, Petrify, Cooldown Increase, and Magic Vulnerability is excellent. She takes the slot of Elysia for the purpose of Melia's Magic Bond.
