Highly Versatile Debuffer

His debuffs, including Defense Reduction for all enemies, Physical Vulnerability, Incoming Healing Reduction, and Reduce Buff Duration, are highly effective. He performs best in a Physical team, though he can also be valuable in other team compositions.

Effective in Any Content

There's no content where he isn't effective; as a debuffer, he can contribute in any battle. It's best to switch between Vanessa, who applies Magic Vulnerability, and Ace, who applies Physical Vulnerability, depending on the situation.

Equipment Depends on Your Strategy

For equipment, if you want to focus on his offensive performance, Vanguard or Avenger are viable options. However, as a hero with strong support abilities whose durability is limited until Guts activates, it's also recommended to enhance his survivability with Paladin, Gatekeeper, or Guardian set equipment.
