Confusion Effects
All Attacks Miss While Confused
Confusion is a type of debuff that occurs during battle, and afflicted Heroes will have their Miss rate increased by 100% for a set number of attacks. Heroes affected by Confusion will have a Confusion icon displayed on them, so you can check it at any time.
Missed Attack Disadvantages
When an attack Misses, the damage dealt is reduced by 20%, and Crit or debuff effects will not trigger. Be careful, as this can disrupt your strategy and prevent you from making your ideal move.
Confusion Counters
Confusion Immunity
There are currently no heroes with Confusion Immunity. Instead, the most viable counter-strategies involve increasing a hero’s Effect Resistance stat, which gives them a chance to resist debuffs, or using buffs that provide Crowd Control Immunity. Confusion Immunity will likely be added in future updates possibly through new Rare or Legendary heroes.
Crowd Control Immunity
With a Crowd Control Immunity buff, you can nullify debuff effects that would make the target unable to act. It's highly versatile as it can negate multiple debuff effects.
Can Also Be Granted with Orchestrator Equipment
You can activate a Crowd Control Immunity effect with the 4-Set Effect of Orchestrator. Orchestrator Set equipment drops in the Iron Devourer Raid.

Increase Effect Resistance
By increasing Effect Resistance, you can have a chance to resist debuff effects from enemies. Although it doesn't guarantee resistance, it's highly versatile as it can also resist other types of debuffs.
Debuff Removal
When Debuff Removal is activated, you can remove a specified number of debuffs from the target hero. Be aware that you can only remove debuffs with a black background icon; debuffs with a red background cannot be removed.
Make Enemy Attacks Miss
Status effects are not applied on attacks that Miss. By using skills that cause enemy attacks to Miss, you can sometimes avoid Concussion.

Increase HP and Defense
Since you cannot Block while paralyzed, you will be easily defeated even if you increase your Block Rate with equipment like Gatekeeper. If taking Confusion is unavoidable, increase your HP and Defense.

How to Increase Confusion Infliction Rate
Equip the Spellweaver Set

You can activate Set Effects by equipping weapons and armor with matching icons in the bottom left. Spellweaver set equipment drops from the Iron Devourer Raid.

Increase Effect Probability
Since Confusion is a type of debuff, you can increase the application rate by including Heroes with an Effect Probability Boost effect in your formation. Consider this if your strategy revolves around status effects.

Increase Effect Hit Rate
Effect Hit Rate has a similar effect to Effect Probability. This effect is strictly a countermeasure against opponents with high Effect Resistance.
For example, if the opponent's Resistance is 0%, the success rate will not increase, but it is a necessary effect if you want to apply it to an opponent with high Resistance.
Equip the Uncommon Ring of Accuracy
Equipping the Uncommon Ring of Accuracy increases your Accuracy stat. By landing more hits, you also increase the chances of triggering status effects like Confusion, making it a useful option for heroes who rely on applying debuffs.
