What is Paralysis Effect?
Unable to Act While Active

Paralysis is a debuff that immobilizes a hero during battle. When affected, a Paralysis icon appears above the hero, allowing you to easily identify the status at any time.
Block Rate is Fixed at 0%
Block cannot activate while a hero is affected by Paralysis. Since Block provides a powerful 50% Damage Reduction, even heroes with a high Block Rate can be easily defeated when paralyzed.
Paralysis Immunity Heroes & Counters
Paralysis Immunity

The best way to counter Paralysis is to include a hero with 'Paralysis Immunity' in your team. While the immunity is active, your heroes cannot be paralyzed and can continue attacking uninterrupted.
Use Victoria for Paralysis Immunity

Victoria is the only hero with Paralysis Immunity. She enhances Magic Attack and inflicts Magic Vulnerability, making her an excellent support for magic-based teams. She also boasts high durability, granting Physical Resistance to back-row allies and healing herself during battle.
Victoria's Rating & SkillsCrowd Control Immunity
A Crowd Control Immunity buff nullifies debuffs that prevent a hero from acting. It's highly versatile, as it protects against multiple types of disabling effects.
Also Granted by Orchestrator Set
The Crowd Control Immunity effect activates with the 4-piece 'Orchestrator' set, which can be obtained from the Iron Devourer Raid.
![]() | Consider it mainly for PvP due to its short duration. |

Increase Effect Resistance

Increasing Effect Resistance gives heroes a chance to evade enemy debuffs. While not guaranteed, it's versatile, providing potential protection against all types of debuffs.
Debuff Removal

When Debuff Removal activates, it removes a set number of debuffs from the target hero. Only debuffs with a black icon can be removed; red icon debuffs cannot.
Cause Enemy Attacks to Miss
Status effects do not apply to missed attacks. Using skills that cause enemy attacks to miss can help prevent Paralysis.

Increase HP and Defense
Since Block cannot activate while paralyzed, heroes become vulnerable even with high Block Rate equipment like the Gatekeeper set. If Paralysis is unavoidable, focus on increasing HP and Defense.

How to Increase Paralysis Infliction Rate
Equip the Spellweaver Set
Set | Set Effect |
---|---|
![]() | 2-Set: Effect Hit Rate 17% 4-Set: Effect Hit Rate 35% Effect Probability 10% |
Equipping weapons and armor with matching icons in the bottom left grants a Set Effect. The 'Spellweaver' set increases Effect Probability and can be obtained from the Iron Devourer Raid.
![]() | To activate the 4-piece Set Effect, increase your hero's equipment slots via Ultimate Enhancement. |

Increase Effect Probability

Since Paralysis is a debuff, including a hero with an Effect Probability Boost can increase its infliction rate. This is especially useful for strategies centered on status effects.
List of Heroes with Effect Probability Boost
Name | Detail |
---|---|
![]() | - A powerful healer with an all-ally Revive and Guts. - Also recommended for Death parties. - Good to pair with a debuffer. - Equipping HP-boosting equipment is recommended. - Cannot be obtained from Summon. |
Increase Effect Hit Rate

Like Effect Probability, Effect Hit Rate counters enemies with high Effect Resistance. If an enemy's Resistance is 0%, this stat won't improve your success rate, but it's useful for applying debuffs to opponents with high Resistance.
Equip the Ring of Doom

Equipping the Ring of Doom gives your Basic Attack a 10% chance to inflict Paralysis, increasing the likelihood of triggering the effect.
