Physical Team Features

A High-Damage Team Built Around Attack-Type Heroes

Physical teams are built around Attack-type heroes. Unlike Magic teams, which deal damage through status ailments and similar effects, Physical teams are fundamentally about attacking with sheer damage output.

Strong Against Magic Teams, Weak Against Tank/Sustain Teams

Since their strength lies in high damage output, Physical teams tend to have the advantage against Magic teams, which typically have lower durability, but are at a disadvantage against Tank/Sustain teams that are hard to overpower through damage alone.

This is an example Physical team that includes Hayeon and Yoongun. Place Sunran in the Back Row with a Defense-type formation so her Upper Hand triggers, and Jeo or Eirin are the best pet picks for boosting Attack.

Randgrid Team

This is an example Physical team that includes Randgrid, whose team condition requires 5 Attack-type heroes. This is a solid option if you want to prioritize synergy between Attack-type heroes.

Other Main Team Candidates

HeroFeatures
DellonsDellonsOne of the best Physical attackers, Dellons grows stronger as the battle goes on and boasts a powerful Execution effect.
YoongunYoongunYoongun boasts some of the highest damage output of any hero, making him extremely strong. Despite being a Magic-type, he's still worth considering for Physical teams.
Lu BuLu BuOne of the strongest Physical attackers, Lu Bu can boost the overall damage output of a Physical team. His team condition makes him hard to pair with Sun Wukong or Trude, but he's a must-have for All-Physical teams.
HayeonHayeonHayeon offers excellent support, especially through Cover and Cooldown Reduction that increase your strong attackers' chances to act.
OrkahOrkahOrkah limits enemy Front Row skills with Cooldown Increase, making it easier for your Back Row's strong skills to land. He also excels as a Ignore Defense attacker skilled at Buff Duration Reduction.
ArisArisAris has the edge against Tank/Sustain teams, so including her makes it easier to beat them. Swapping out Randgrid, whose team condition requires 5 Attack-type heroes, for Aris is a solid option.

Other Alternative Hero Examples

Alternative Hero Examples

Best Pets for Physical Teams

Jeo Excels at Burst Damage

Jeo

Jeo increases both Damage Boost and Attack, making it a great fit for Physical teams that rely on high damage output. Its Attack Boost has a large increase but is limited to 4 turns, making it effective when you want to burst enemies down quickly.

Yu is Useful for Physical, Magic, and Tank/Sustain Teams Alike

Yu

Yu can lower both Incoming Healing and Defense, making it especially useful against heroes with healing effects like Dellons or Silvesta. It can also help counter Tank/Sustain teams, though it's better to also bring an Incoming Healing Reduction hero like Karl Heron alongside it.

Eirin as an Alternative to Yu or Jeo

Eirin

Eirin increases Physical Attack, making it a safe and easy-to-use pick when you want to boost a Physical team's damage output. It's a solid option if you don't own Yu or Jeo.

Yorang for Reducing Physical or Magic Damage

Yorang

Yorang can apply Weakness Hit Chance Reduction and boost damage from skills that hit 4-5 targets, making it especially useful when you want to lower the damage output of Physical or Magic teams. The damage boost to 4-5-target skills also pairs well with Lu Bu.

Richel/Dello to Cover Missing Stats

Weakness HitCrit
RichelRichelDelloDello

You'll generally want to adjust these stats through equipment, but Richel is an option if you're short on Weakness Hit Chance, and Dello if you're short on Crit Rate.
