This is a guide for 7K Chess in Seven Knights Re:BIRTH (7K Rebirth). Read on to learn what it is, how it's used, and whether or not you should use it over the regular Summons!
What is 7K Chess?
Alternative to Summons

7K Chess is an alternate gacha system that allows players to Wishlist
a specific Hero and attempt to select their grid from a chess-like board by paying either Gold or Rubies.
Gold and Ruby Costs
Pull # | Cost |
---|---|
1st Pull | ![]() |
2nd Pull | ![]() |
3rd Pull | ![]() |
4th-80th Pull | ![]() |
The first pull of the day will cost only Gold, with subsequent pulls costing more and more Rubies, eventually capping at 150 Rubies per pull.
Wish Listed Obtained Only Once

You can change your Wish List at any time unless a hero has already been successfully pulled from the chessboard; in that case, you must wait for a reset to select a new hero. Once a Wish Listed hero is successfully summoned, they will not reappear on the chessboard.
Resets Every 28 Days
Players who are hoping to pull their Wish Listed Hero will need to do so before the chess grid resets on the 28th day. Since there are a total of 80 grids, it is unlikely that players will be able to obtain their Hero without spending Rubies.
How to Unlock 7K Chess
Clear Adventure 4-20

To unlock 7K Chess, players will need to progress through the Adventure mode until they've completed Region 4. Ruins of Skytria, Stage 20. Since unlocking new content is tied to Adventure progress, we recommend new players to focus on Adventure above all else.
Access from Workshop

Once unlocked, players can access 7K Chess by selecting the Workshop
icon on the Home screen, and then selecting 7K Chess
from the options that pop-up.

Is It Worth It Over Summons?
Worth It for Wish List Heroes

If there are Heroes that you want that are also available on the Wish List, 7K Chess is the overall cheaper
method to acquire them.
For example, players that missed the Teo banner can easily get him from 7K Chess, versus trying to acquire him from the regular Summon or as a random Legendary.
Cost Comparison
The table below assumes that the player will only be pulling x10 a day, over the span of 8 days.
Summon Costs | 7K Chess | |
---|---|---|
Pity? | No Pity | Hard Pity |
10 Pulls | ![]() | ![]() ![]() |
80 Pulls | ![]() | ![]() ![]() |
At first glance, it may seem like 7K Chess is more expensive than regular Summons, however, it is worth noting that players will hit Hard Pity after only 80 pulls using 7K Chess, whereas regular Summons may take 100 up to 200 pulls before they are guaranteed their desired Hero.
![]() | It is recommended to pull 3 times a day to secure the legendary of your choice in a month. Additionally, you will be able to get Brilliant Skill Enhancement Stones & Skill Enhancement Stones. |

7K Chess Pros and Cons
Pro | Con |
---|---|
- Lower Pity - Focused on specific Hero - Older Legendaries which may never get Featured banners are available | - Pity resets regardless of whether or not you got your Wish List - Higher Gold and Ruby Cost per pull - No newly released Heroes available to Wish List - Time consuming if you want to lower costs - Exclusive pity not shared with any other banners |
In our opinion, the greatest benefit of using the 7K Chess over Summons is that you can easily target specific Heroes, regardless of whether or not they have an ongoing banner. This makes it easier for players to obtain specific Heroes that they are missing.
