What is a Raid?

Get Equipment

what is raid

A raid is a PvE mode where you can obtain equipment. Each dungeon has difficulty levels from 1 to 6, and higher difficulties make it easier to get higher-rank equipment. From Difficulty 4 onward, you can also obtain Chaos Essence and Oblivion Essence.

TipsTips!Raids become available once you clear Adventure 4-10.

Dedicated and Shared Equipment Can Also Drop

At Difficulty 4 and above, Shared Equipment and Dedicated Equipment can also drop. Since Dedicated Equipment is stronger than Shared Equipment, farming Difficulty 5 or higher is best if you're able to.

Dedicated Equipment Usage and How to Obtain | How to Tune

Cut-Ins Drop Equipment Crafting Materials

Drops

If a cut-in plays when the boss's HP drops below half, you'll receive Equipment Crafting Materials at the end of the battle. Retrying doesn't consume a Key, so if you're specifically farming for Equipment Crafting Materials, it's best to retry whenever a cut-in doesn't trigger.

How to Use Equipment Crafting Materials

Entry Requires Keys or Raid Entry Tickets

Raid Ticket

Challenging a raid requires 12 Keys or 2 Raid Entry Tickets. Raid Entry Tickets can be obtained from the Honor Point exchange shop (earned from friends) or through events.

TipsTips! If you've purchased the Daily Enhancement Support (28 Days) from the paid shop, your daily free entry count increases by 15.

Raid Strategy Tips

Quick Reference: Best Raid Heroes

*There is no left-right difference within the same Tier.

Generally, building up SS to A tier heroes will let you clear the content, but depending on what you own, use B tier and below heroes as substitutes. For Stun Immunity, either Evan or Sieg works fine, whichever you prefer.

TipsTips! This page also rates heroes suited for Sudden Raids together within the same Raid Tier list.

Enhancement and Rank Up Are Essential

Enhancement and Rank Up Are Essential

To clear high-difficulty raids, upgrades like Enhancement, Rank Up, and Skill Enhancement are essential. If you're struggling to clear a stage, build up your team members by enhancing them to +5 or Ranking them up.

TipsTips!Attackers like Pascal and Shane are an especially high priority, but you'll get knocked out easily if you don't build up everyone else in a balanced way too. For Attackers, also consider Ultimate Enhancement, which adds equipment slots!

Efficient Hero Training Methods

Check Strategy Info to Build Your Team

Check Strategy Info to Build Your Team

You can view strategy info for each raid from "Strategy," located to the left of "Entry." Check the strategy info for the raid you want to challenge and use the recommended heroes as a reference when building your team.

Team Building Tips and Team Examples

Include Status Ailment Immunity Heroes

Status ailment countermeasures are extremely important in raids. Going in unprepared puts you at a serious disadvantage, so always include heroes with the right status ailment immunity.

Use Heroes Suited to Each Raid's Characteristics

For example, Destroyer Gaze calls for Physical attacks, while Iron Devourer calls for Magic attacks — each raid has different characteristics, so bring heroes suited to them. These heroes also play an important role in clearing each raid.

Booster Mode Is Best for Farming

Booster Mode Is Best for Farming

Once you've cleared a difficulty, Raid Booster Mode becomes available for it. Stamina cost increases 2x-3x, but rewards also increase 2x-3x, making it a great way to farm efficiently.

Also Check Clear Records

Also Check Clear Records

From the Clear Records button at the bottom left of the team setup screen, you can check the team comps other players used when they cleared. You can even copy their team comp, so be sure to make use of this feature too.

TipsTips! If you're using Weakness Hit Chance Boost, equip your Attacker with gear that has a Weakness Hit Chance Boost option.
