Effects of Shock
Disables Action While Active

Shock is a type of debuff that occurs during battle, and the affected hero is disabled for the duration of the effect. This disabled state from Shock continues until a set number of turns have passed or the Shock debuff is removed.
Additional Damage When Attack Lands
When hit by an enemy attack while affected by Shock, additional damage equal to 40% of the Attack Power of the skill user (the Hero who inflicted Shock) is dealt. It's a dangerous debuff that easily depletes HP.Heroes with Shock Immunity and Other Countermeasures
Shock Immunity

The most effective counter to Shock is to include heroes with "Shock Immunity" in your party. While the immunity effect is active, you will not be shocked, allowing you to attack without being stopped in your tracks.
Chloe

Chloe has excellent support abilities with Shock Immunity + Unable to Recover debuffs and multi-hit skills. She is useful in the Water Particle Dungeon/Light Particle Dungeon, making her one of the heroes you'll want to get early on.
Chloe's EvaluationCrowd Control Immunity
A Crowd Control Immunity buff allows you to nullify debuff effects that would disable the target. It's highly versatile as it can cancel out multiple debuff effects.
Orchestrator Equipment Grants CC Immunity
The Crowd Control Immunity effect can be activated with the 4-Set Effect of the "Orchestrator" set. Orchestrator sets equipment drops in the Iron Devourer Raid.
![]() | The effect duration is short, so consider it mainly for PvP! |

Effect Resistance Up

By increasing your Effect Resistance, you can have a chance to resist debuff effects from enemies. It doesn't guarantee resistance, but it's highly versatile as it also provides a chance to resist all other types of debuffs.
Debuff Removal

When Debuff Removal activates, you can remove a specified number of debuffs from the target hero. The removable debuffs are those with a black background on their icon; be careful, as debuffs with a red background cannot be removed.
Make Enemy's Attack Miss
Status ailments are not applied on attacks that Miss. By using skills that make enemy attacks Miss, you may be able to avoid Shock.Examples of Miss Attack

Reduce the Number of Active Enemies
While shocked, you take damage every time an attack hits you, so you can mitigate the damage by reducing the number of attacks. Against enemies that inflict Shock, either quickly defeat the weaker ones or inflict Crowd Control Debuffs on them.

You get a Set Effect by equipping items with matching icons in the bottom left of the Weapons and Armor, and among these, the Spellweaver Set Effect increases Debuff Probability. Spellweaver set equipment drops in the Iron Devourer Raid.

Increase Effect Probability

Shock is a type of debuff, so you can increase its application rate by including heroes with an Effect Probability Boost in your party. Consider this if your strategy revolves around status ailments.
List of Heroes with Effect Probability Boost
Name | Detail |
---|---|
![]() | - A powerful healer with an all-ally Revive and Guts. - Also recommended for Death parties. - Good to pair with a debuffer. - Equipping HP-boosting equipment is recommended. - Cannot be obtained from Summon. |
Increase Effect Hit Rate

Similar to Effect Probability, there is Effect Hit Rate. This effect is strictly a countermeasure against opponents with high Effect Resistance.
If the opponent's Resistance is 0%, the probability of success does not increase, but it is a necessary effect if you want to inflict debuffs on an opponent with high Resistance.
Equip the Ring of Brilliance

Equipping the Ring of Brilliance will give you a 10% chance to inflict Shock with a Basic Attack. By increasing the opportunities to apply it, you can make it more likely for Shock to occur.
