Best Characters for God of Destruction
Rounds have Different Resistances

The God of Destruction has Physical Resistance in Round 1 and Magic Resistance in Round 2. Therefore, you should challenge Round 1 with a magic team and Round 2 with a physical team. The overall strategy remains the same for both rounds.
Tips! | If you defeat the God of Destruction in Round 1 within the 70-turn limit, Round 2 will start with the remaining number of turns. |
|---|
Use Single-Target Damage Dealers
The God of Destruction greatly reduces damage taken from Physical Attacks in Round 1 and Magic Attacks in Round 2, so you must bring the correct type of damage dealer.
Use Healers and Shielders
No Healer and Barrier Teams
If you can defeat the boss quickly, you can also challenge Round 1 without healing or Barriers. Depending on your roster, you may be able to clear Round 2 with only a Healer and no Barriers.

Basically, buffs and debuffs of the same type don’t stack, so try to build your team with a good balance to avoid overlaps. However, there’s an exception — buffs of the same type do stack if they come from an active skill and a passive skill, so it’s fine to have both on the same team.
Best Team Setup Examples for God of Destruction
Sample Team 1
B: Back row / F: Front row
| B | Pascal Yuri | - Main DPS |
|---|---|---|
| F | Biscuit | - Buff Removal - Boss Damage Boost (Skill 1) - Weakness Hit Chance Boost (Skill 1) - Defense Reduction (Passive) |
| F | Kyrielle Ariel | - Magic Damage Boost (Passive) If your Weakness Hit rate is low, you can also swap Kyrielle/Ariel for Rachel. Before Transcendence 6, Biscuit’s Skill 1 buff goes to the ally with the highest attack. Because Kyrielle’s Speed-Based Attack Boost often makes her stronger than Pascal, the buff may target her instead. If that happens, adjust your speed or team accordingly. |
| F | Miho Espada | - Magic Vulnerability (Skill 1) - Weakness Hit Damage Boost (Passive) Miho has low durability, so it’s best to use one or both armors with defensive stats. Since this content has limited attempts, choose Damage Taken Reduction rather than Block Rate for the main stat. |
| F | Lina | - Damage Boost (Skill 2) - Defense Reduction (Skill 2) - Crit Damage Boost (Passive) |
To achieve a high score, the key is how quickly you can deal 1M damage to the God of Destruction and finish Round 1. That's why Team 1 is composed of characters who can provide Critical damage, Defense Reduction, and Magic Vulnerability.
Considering Pascal's Burst Damage, swapping Espada for Miho is an option. However, while Espada's Magic Vulnerability lasts for 5 turns, Miho's only lasts for 3 turns, which means you won't be able to land two Pascal shots while the Vulnerability is active.
Tips! | Bring Magic Damage Dealers for Round 1, as it has a considerable amount of Physical Resistance. |
|---|
Sample Team 1 Skill Order
| 1-3 | 1. Biscuit Skill 1 2. Espada Skill 1 3. Lina Skill 1 |
|---|---|
| 4-6 | 4. Lina Skill 2 5. Pascal Skill 2 6. Pascal Skill 1 |
| 7 | 7. Pascal Skill 2 |
In order to achieve a 24 to 26 turn clear, Pascal needs to deal roughly 400,000 damage after all buffs and debuffs are applied. This requires a highly optimized build and sufficient skill enhancements to pull off successfully.
| 1-3 | 1. Biscuit Skill 1 2. Espada Skill 1 3. Lina Skill 1 |
|---|---|
| 4-6 | 4. Pascal Skill 2 5. Pascal Skill 1 |
| 7-9 | 7. Pascal Skill 2 8. Pascal Skill 1 |
This is an alternative skill rotation you can use if your Pascal is unable to deal 400,000 damage to the boss.
Recommended Pets for Team 1
| One for Each Team | |||
|---|---|---|---|
Yeonji | Richel | Windy | Yu |
Croa | Little Feng | Nina | Note |
The best pets for God of Destruction Round 1 are Windy, Yeonji and Note, as they provide strong buffs that help increase your overall damage output. The other listed pets are also solid options, and their effectiveness will depend on your stats and team composition.
Sample Team 2
B: Back row / F: Front row
| B | Shane Jupy | - Main DPS |
|---|---|---|
| F | Eileene Sieg | - Physical Attack Boost (Passive) Sieg’s buff has a higher effect value than Eileene’s, but it only applies to allies in the back row. Eileene can grant her buff unconditionally to all allies, while Sieg’s has restrictions but allows him to contribute as a sub-DPS. Choose whichever one fits your preference. |
| F | Dellons Rachel | - Physical Damage Boost (Dellons) - Physical Vulnerability and Defense Reduction(Rachel) - Weakness Hit Chance Boost (Rachel) - All Attack and Damage Reduction (Rachel) Same as above, Chloe or Rachel are recommended as alternatives. |
| F | Ace | - Defense Reducton (Passive) - Physical Vulnerability (Skill 2) |
| F | Yui Alice | - Healer - Physical Damage Boost (Yui Skill 1) Yui can both heal allies and provide a Physical Damage Boost. Alice is a pure healer that can aid with your team's survivability. |
For Round 2, prioritize applying debuffs on God of Destruction before using your Damage Dealer's skills. If you are low on turns after Round 1, you can skip the debuffs and focus on DPS skills instead. Note that if you have Juri, it is still best to apply debuffs first, as most of your damage will come from Juri’s Follow-Up Attacks.
Tips! | Bring Physical Damage Dealers for Round 2, as it has a considerable amount of Magic Resistance. |
|---|
Sample Team 2 Skill Order
| 1-3 | 1. (Debuffer/Buffer) Skill 2. (Debuffer/Buffer) Skill |
|---|---|
| 4-5 | 3. Damage Dealer Skill 1/2 4. Damage Dealer Skill 1/2 |
