Advent Expedition Karma Strategy Tips

Attack While Perseverance Stacks Are Low

Karma's Defense increases with a stack of Perseverance every time it uses a skill. After using Skill 2 at 8 Perseverance stacks, it deals bonus damage and its Perseverance stacks reset, so the basic strategy is to attack while Perseverance stacks are low, and prioritize buffs, debuffs, or healing while stacks are high.

First, buff your allies' damage and debuff the enemy's defenses. It's best to use whichever buffs and debuffs have the longest duration first.

Whittle Down HP with 3-Target Physical Attackers

Once you've applied buffs and debuffs to some extent, use your attackers to whittle down its HP. Shadow Karma has Damage Resistance against magic damage and against 1-2 target / 4-5 target attack skills, so physical attacks that hit 3 targets are effective. Taka and Ryan are Best, with the Rare-grade Feng Yan as a good runner-up.

Tips!	Note that Rachel's Skill 1 remains a single-target attack until Transcendence 6.

Wait and Heal Up Once Perseverance Stacks Increase

Once your attackers have finished their attacks, use healing, buffs, and debuffs to set up before Shadow Karma's Perseverance stacks reset. Lina, who can also boost damage dealt, and Heavenia, who provides physical damage buffs and defense debuffs, are especially Best as healers.

Round 2 Begins with Your Remaining Turns

If you defeat Shadow Karma in Round 1 within the 70-turn limit, Round 2 will begin using your remaining turns. The strategy is the same, but since you use a different team for each round, you'll need to prepare two teams with a similar direction.

Consider Using Your Stronger Team for Round 1

The enemy level is higher in Round 2, but there's no point if you can't clear Round 1. If Round 1 is difficult to clear, use your stronger team there instead, and first aim to clear Round 1 within the turn limit.

Tips!	Only once your sub team can reliably clear Round 1 early will you be able to use your stronger team in Round 2 to further boost your score.

Progress Ultimate Enhancement and Transcendence

Progressing your heroes through Ultimate Enhancement, Transcendence, and Skill Enhancement is essential to clearing Round 1. In particular, it's Best to prioritize Ultimate Enhancement and Skill Enhancement for your attackers, since this makes it much easier to significantly boost your damage.

Compared to other Advent Expeditions, the 6 million score is harder to reach, so higher gear stats are required as well. Try to raise everyone's Crit Rate and Crit Damage as high as possible.
