Effects of Petrify
Unable to Act While Active
Petrify is a type of debuff that occurs during battle, and the inflicted Hero is unable to act for the duration. This incapacitated state from Petrify continues until a set number of turns have passed or the Petrify debuff is removed.
Damage is Dealt When Petrify is Removed
When the Petrify status is removed, damage equal to 120% of the skill user's Attack Power is dealt. The damage dealt is normal damage and not a fixed value.
Heroes with Petrify Immunity
Petrify Counters

The most effective way to counter Petrify is to include a Hero with Petrify Immunity in your formation. While the immunity effect is active, you will not be Petrified, allowing you to attack without being stopped.
Black Rose

Black Rose is a Hero who can provide Petrify Immunity and perform Buff Removal on All Enemies. Enhancing her skill activates a Heal effect upon skill use, increasing her durability, so be sure to level her up if you plan on using her.
Black Rose GuideDaisy

In addition to Petrify Immunity and Buff Removal for All Enemies, Daisy is characterized by her ability to buff allies' Magic Attack. She also possesses a Max HP-Based Damage skill, allowing her to perform excellently on offense as well.
We recommend using Daisy in a Magic party and Black Rose in a Physical party.
Daisy GuideCrowd Control Immunity
With a Crowd Control Immunity buff, you can nullify debuff effects that would incapacitate the target. It's highly versatile as it can negate multiple types of debuff effects.
Can Be Granted by Orchestrator Equipment
You can activate the Crowd Control Immunity effect with the Orchestrator 4-Set Effect. The Orchestrator set equipment drops from the Iron Devourer Raid.

Increase Effect Resistance

By increasing your Effect Resistance, you can evade debuff effects from enemies with a certain probability. It is not a guaranteed evasion, but it is highly versatile as it can also evade other debuffs in general.
Debuff Removal

When Debuff Removal activates, you can remove a specified number of debuffs from the target Hero. Note that you can only remove debuffs with a black icon background; those with a red background cannot be removed.
Making the Enemy's Attack Miss
An attack that misses will not apply status ailments. By using a skill that causes the enemy's attack to miss, you may be able to avoid Petrify.

Increase HP and Defense
Since you cannot Block while Paralyzed, you will be easily defeated even if you increase your Block Rate with equipment like the Gatekeeper set. If you have no choice but to be Paralyzed, increase your HP and Defense.

Increase Effect Probability

Since Petrify is a type of debuff, you can increase the application rate by including Heroes with an Effect Probability Boost effect in your formation. Consider this if your strategy revolves around status ailments.
Heroes with Effect Probability Boost Effect
Name | Detail |
---|---|
![]() | - A powerful healer with an all-ally Revive and Guts. - Also recommended for Death parties. - Good to pair with a debuffer. - Equipping HP-boosting equipment is recommended. - Cannot be obtained from Summon. |
Increase Effect Hit Rate

Effect Hit Rate has a similar effect to Effect Probability. This effect is strictly a countermeasure against opponents with high Effect Resistance.
For example, if the opponent's Resistance is 0%, the success rate will not increase, but it is a necessary effect if you want to apply it to an opponent with high Resistance.
Equip the Uncommon Ring of Medusa

Equipping the Uncommon Ring of Medusa will cause Petrify to be applied with a 10% probability on Basic Attack. Increasing the opportunities to apply it can make it easier to inflict Petrify.
