Tank and Sustain Party Features

High-Durability Party that withstands Healing

A Tank Party is a party composed of Universal, Defense, and Support-type Heroes. The concept is to utilize their high durability and fight while holding out with healing.

Strong Against Physical Party but Weak Against Magic Party

They tend to have an advantage against high-firepower Physical parties as they are hard to take down, but are at a disadvantage against Magic parties that attack with Special Attacks that ignore durability. However, with the recent adjustments to Ace and the introduction of the pet Yu, it has become more difficult to outlast Physical parties.

Status Effect Parties as Variant

As a variant of Tank Parties, there are also Status Effect Parties. These parties fight by stopping enemy movement with effects like Petrify or Extreme Chill, but recently, with many debuff counter heroes like Elysia, it has become difficult to win by specializing solely in status effects.

This is an example of a party that can take advantage of the formation effects that activate when Gelidus is with 3 or more Universal heroes, and Pallanus is with one or more Defense and Support heroes each. Rudy is currently recommended for the Defense slot, but for the Support slot, choose from multiple candidates based on your development status.

This is an example of an offense-oriented Tank Party, including Freyja. Including Freyja requires you to focus on either Pallanus or Gelidus, so Gelidus has been removed. However, a formation that removes Pallanus and includes Gelidus and Elysia is also viable.

Sun Wukong	He has high healing performance with a party-wide Heal when using a skill and Cooldown Reduction when taking damage. He also has high firepower and is recommended as an attacker for a Tank Party.

Other Recommended Parties

Hero	Features
Pallanus	Her Defense/Support type formation conditions and Incoming Healing Boost are perfect for a Tank Party. Her HP Swap and full Debuff Removal also increase the chances of winning against Magic parties, which is another reason to include her.
Karma	A high-durability attacker and supporter, and his Universal type Damage Boost is easy to utilize in Tank/Status Effect parties. However, he is a Hero who is at a disadvantage against Magic parties centered around Freyja.
Gelidus	Gelidus not only stops enemy movement and deals damage with Extreme Chill, but can also restore HP when Extreme Chill is removed, making Gelidus a perfect status effect Hero for a Tank Party.
Ace	His strength is his Incoming Healing Reduction, which is especially effective when you want to counter an enemy Sun Wukong. As a Universal type, another advantage is that he pairs well with Gelidus.
Spike	His Effect Hit Rate Boost passive pairs well with heroes like Gelidus. His Effect Resist Boost and Debuff Removal are also effective in an environment with many status effects.
Platin	He is suitable for the Front Row of a Tank Party as a high-durability tank. However, since he is a self-sufficient Hero and not a Universal type, it becomes difficult to balance the party when combining him with Gelidus.
Elysia	Elysia's strength is Debuff Removal when using a skill, and is especially active in an environment with many status effect heroes. Silence infliction also synergizes well with Tank/Status Effect parties.
Freyja	The consecutive activation of HP Alteration and Buff Removal skills is powerful, and Freyja is sometimes used in Tank Parties as an attacker in an offense-oriented Tank Party.
Rudy	He is a Defense type Hero you'll want to pair with Pallanus. Not only can he increase the durability of allies, but his Crowd Control Immunity infliction is especially recommended in an environment with many status effects.
Jave	He possesses Burn and Stun infliction, and since he has many moves due to his Counterattack, you can further increase the opportunities for inflicting status effects by equipping a status effect ring.
Lina	She is one of the excellent healers, and her Effect Resist Boost is useful as a countermeasure against status effects. Additionally, her Crit Damage Boost pairs well with Sun Wukong.
Alice	She is a healer specializing in Heal, and since she has a Defense Boost passive, she greatly contributes to increasing the durability of a Tank Party.
Rosie	She is a powerful healer who can revive 2 Allies or the entire party. She has an Effect Probability Boost passive, which is a great match for Tank /Status Effect parties.
Trude	Trude is a high-durability Crit attacker, and her strength is that she can move easily, even in a status effect environment by inflicting Crowd Control Immunity. However, this is a Hero who is at a disadvantage against Magic parties centered around Freyja.
Nia	She is useful as a wide-range status effect Hero specializing in Shock. Her Cooldown Increase is also an excellent effect in PvP.
