Iron Devourer Raid Tips and Strategies
Paralysis and Poison Countermeasures are a Must
| Poison Immunity Characters | ||
|---|---|---|
The enemy inflicts Paralysis and Deadly Poison. Without countermeasures you'll be at a serious disadvantage, so be sure to include heroes with Paralysis Immunity and Poison Immunity in your team.
Targeting the Back Row is Extremely Important
The Iron Devourer has three heads, and all damage dealt to the left and right heads (Front) is reduced to 1. The center head (Back) appears with reduced HP, so target it with Weakness Hits or Focus Target.
Tips! | Weakness Hit Chance can be increased by 15% with a 2-piece Bounty Tracker equipment set, or 35% with a 4-piece set. It can also be granted through equipment options. |
|---|
1. Use Asura's Focus Target
| Focus Target Characters | ||
|---|---|---|
Asura has a high Weakness Hit Chance, and can apply Focus Target with Skill 1. By slightly boosting Asura's Weakness Hit Chance with Bounty Tracker equipment or a Rachel build, the standard strategy is to apply Focus Target to the center head.
Tips! | At Rank 6, Asura's Passive alone gives a 70% Weakness Hit Chance, but if Focus Target ends up on the left or right head instead, use the pause button at the top right of the screen to retry. |
|---|
Advanced Players Can Also Build Without Asura
With a skill-enhanced Biscuit, her skill can grant your Attacker a 54% Weakness Hit Chance. If your Attacker also equips gear with a Weakness Hit Chance Boost option, clearing without Focus Target is also possible.
2. Remove Defense Reduction with Debuff Removal
When the enemy uses its Defense Reduction skill, remove it early with Debuff Removal. You can clear lower difficulties without it, but the higher the difficulty, the harder it becomes to clear without Debuff Removal.
3. Attack While Using Buffs and Debuffs
Attack with your Attacker while using buffs and debuffs. The Iron Devourer has high Defense and also has a Physical Resistance passive skill, so the best choice is a single-target Magic Attacker capable of Ignore Defense attacks.
Tips! | Skills tend to deal less damage the wider their attack range, so single-target attacks are best in battles against a single enemy. |
|---|
4. Set Up the Field Before the Cooldown Resets
| Examples of HP Healing Heroes | |||
|---|---|---|---|
After attacking, it's best to use the downtime before you can attack again to heal HP and set up Buffs/Debuffs. From there, just repeat the steps from step 1 onward according to your Buff/Debuff situation.
Progress Your Hero Upgrades Through Enhancement and Evolution
To clear higher-difficulty Power Up Dungeons, upgrading your heroes through Enhancement and Evolution is essential. If you can't clear a stage, try Enhancing your team members to +5 or Evolving them.

Best Team Comps
Advanced Player Team
Team Formation: Defense
This team uses Lucy for Poison Immunity, Xiao Qiao for Paralysis Immunity, Biscuit and Xiao for Buffs/Debuffs, and Pascal to whittle down HP. Make sure to boost Xiao and Pascal's Weakness Hit Chance with equipment.
Target Stats
Since you need to target the back head, it's ideal for Xiao/Xiao Qiao/Pascal's Weakness Hit Chance to be close to 100% including buffs.
By keeping 4 or more heroes' Speed higher than the enemy's 30, you can prevent taking damage in the window between Defense Reduction landing and it being removed.

Best Pets
| Ideal | Alternative | Alternative | Low Rarity |
|---|---|---|---|
Windy | Yeonji | Igris | Note |
Windy, who can inflict Boss Vulnerability, is the Best pet choice. If you don't have her, substitute with Yeonji or the collab rare pet Igris.
Alternative Heroes
| Best Pick | Alternative Heroes | Notes |
|---|---|---|
![]() | Asura | Focus Target |
![]() | Lina | Alternative for Buff/Debuff |
Sun Wukong | Doubles as Attacker and Healer | |
![]() | Victoria | Alternative for Paralysis Immunity |
Note that if you use Lina instead of Xiao, Defense Reduction won't be applied to the back row unless she's at 6th Transcendence. If your Sun Wukong is well-developed, adding him for an extra Attacker is also a viable option.
Auto-Skill Priority
| Priority | Skill | Hero |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Skill 1 | Biscuit |
| 2 | Skill 1 | Xiao Qiao |
| 3 | Skill 1 | Xiao |
| 4 | Skill 2 | Xiao Qiao |
| 5 | Skill 2 | Pascal |
| 6 | Skill 1 | Pascal |
Setting Xiao Qiao's Skill 1 as priority 2 lets you remove Defense Reduction with Debuff Removal right away. If any of your heroes tend to get taken out mid-fight, consider equipping a Legendary ring to counter it, or inserting Lucy's healing skill in between.
Intermediate Teams
Team Formation: Defense
This team uses Lucy for Poison Immunity, Xiao Qiao for Paralysis Immunity, and Asura to apply Focus Target so Pascal can whittle down the boss's HP. With Focus Target active, everyone except Asura no longer needs to boost their Weakness Hit Chance through equipment.
Target Stats
Make sure Asura's Weakness Hit Chance reaches 100% when combined with her Passive, so she can apply Focus Target to the back row.
By keeping at least 4 heroes' Speed higher than the enemy's 30, you can prevent the party from taking damage between when Defense Reduction lands and when it's removed.
Best Equipment & Rings
Best Pets
| Ideal | Alternative | Alternative | Low Rarity |
|---|---|---|---|
Windy | Yeonji | Igris | Note |
For pets, Windy is the best choice since she can inflict Boss Vulnerability. If you don't have her, Yeonji or the collab rare pet Igris are good substitutes.
Alternative Heroes
| Best Pick | Alternative Heroes | Notes |
|---|---|---|
![]() | Biscuit | Weakness Hit Chance Boost |
![]() | Xiao | Alternative for Buff/Debuff |
Sun Wukong | DPS and Healer in One | |
![]() | Victoria | Alternative for Paralysis Immunity |
If Biscuit is well-developed, she's better suited for fast clears. If Sun Wukong is built up, running him to add another DPS is also a solid option.
Auto Skill Priority
Setting Xiao Qiao's Skill 1 as the 2nd priority lets you remove Defense Reduction right away. If a hero tends to get knocked out mid-fight, equipping a Legendary Ring is one countermeasure, or you could also slot Lina's healing skill in as the 4th or 5th priority.

| Front | Front | Front | Front | Back |
|---|---|---|---|---|
AsuraFocus Target Debuff | LucyHealer Poison Immunity Debuff Removal | RachelBuff/Debuff | AceDebuff | Xiao QiaoDPS Paralysis Immunity Debuff Removal Buff/Debuff |
In the early game, bringing Asura for her Focus Target and using Rachel to raise Weakness Hit Chance tends to make runs more stable.
Early-Game Party 2
| Front | Front | Front | Front | Back |
|---|---|---|---|---|
VictoriaParalysis Immunity | LucyHealer Poison Immunity Debuff Removal | RachelDebuff | AceDebuff | Sun WukongDPS Healer |
We recommend challenging the Iron Devourer raid after you obtain Xiao Qiao, but if you can't wait, substitute Victoria for Paralysis Immunity and bring Sun Wukong as your DPS. Since Sun Wukong can hit 3 or more enemies at once, Focus Target isn't needed.
Best Repeat Battle Settings
Repeat Battle is Best for Farming Gear
If you want to farm for ideal gear, it's best to run the raid via Repeat Battle. Check the box to auto-charge Keys and set your skill priority.
Tips! | While Repeat Battle is running, you can minimize the game and take on Adventure, Arena, Infinite Tower, and more — just like with Ruby farming. |
|---|
Best Repeat Battle Settings for Raids
| Setting | Best Setting |
| Stop Repeat Battle on Defeat | OFF |
| Use "Key Box" to Charge Keys | ON |
| Auto Character Swap | All OFF |
| Enable Skill Priority | ON |
| 2x Speed Mode | ON |

What is a Raid?
Get Equipment and Crafting Materials

A Raid is a PvE content type where you can obtain equipment and equipment crafting materials. Each dungeon has difficulty levels from 1 to 15, and the higher the difficulty, the more likely you are to get higher-rank equipment.
Tips! | Raids become available once you clear Adventure 4-10. |
