What is Real Time Arena

Real Time Arena is a PvP mode that may feature live, head to head battles against other players. Unlike regular Arena, both sides act in real time, creating a more dynamic environment where timing and team composition play a larger role.

Release Date Announced New!

In the 1/30/2026 Livestream, it was revealed that Real Time Arena will be released on the 2/5/2026 Update.

Part of Celestial PvP

The Real Time Arena is part of Celestial PvP alongside other competitive game modes such as Advanced Arena and the Seven Knights Cup.

Realtime Arena Mechanics

Features Live Battles

Unlike Advanced Arena and Arena, Real Time Arena will allow both you and your opponent to select skills in real time. This real time decision making also gives players the opportunity to adjust their strategy based on the enemy’s choices as the battle unfolds.

Limited Action Timer

It was revealed that each player will have 10 seconds to select a skill. This timer resets at the start of each new turn, giving players enough time to react and select a skill every turn.

Queue Times

This mode also requires queue times to allow the system to find suitable opponents for matchmaking.

Multiple Teams

After three teams are created, each player selects one of the opponent’s teams to ban, then chooses one of the remaining teams to battle.

Select a Team to Ban

Once a team has been banned, neither player can select it and must choose between the remaining two teams.

Real Time Arena Best Heroes to Ban and Pick

Recommended Hero	Details
Trude	With Trude currently dominating the PvP meta, she is the default first ban unless both sides have a T6 Trude. Her ability to cap damage taken makes her an effective counter to current physical teams centered around Kyle or Teo.
Freyja	Freyja is a strong pick most teams as she fits into nearly any team and can perform a one-shot combo on the entire enemy team with her skills. At T6, she can wipe a full team even through Immortality. She is also a strong counter to Trude, making Freyja a priority ban if you plan to run Trude.
Rudy	Rudy is the backbone of all tank teams, and banning him effectively disables tank compositions in PvP.
Platin	With the resurgence of magic teams, Platin has become a popular option for providing additional HP Alteration and Buff Removal. Banning Platin can hinder both magic and tank teams, making it a worthwhile ban depending on your team setup.
Kyle	Kyle is a common pick in physical teams due to the immense burst damage he can deal to enemy teams. He can also remove Immortality and other buffs, making him a strong counter to heroes such as Teo.
Branze & Bransel	Unlike Celestial and Regular Arena, Realtime Arena allows live skill selection, enabling Branze & Bransel to use their skills at optimal moments, such as using Skill 1 to secure a guaranteed kill or executing an enemy with Skill 2 while also reviving allies.

Tips!	Heroes listed above are strong picks and bans, as they either counter specific heroes or serve as the core of their team.

A beginner-friendly team built entirely from free heroes unlocked at the start. Ideal for climbing early ranks without relying on summons. This setup balances survivability, healing, and damage output. 

Sustain Team

Note!	Trude will require Transcendence 6 to perform at her full potential. Until then, Teo serves as a strong alternative DPS option.

This team focuses on survivability access to Buff Removal, ideal for extended fights and outlasting burst comps. Best against fragile burst teams or single DPS comps.

Note that the Sustain team requires significant investment across all heroes, including Transcendence 6 for Rudy, Lina, Alice, and either Karma or Trude. Platin also benefits from reaching Transcendence 2 for an additional instance of healing.

With the release of Melia, magic teams have once again seen a resurgence, with Melia easily countering Trude in the late game. The heroes recommended above are interchangeable and can be adjusted as needed depending on your Transcendence.

A Physical Arena team that combines frontline durability, AoE burst damage, and strong crowd control. This composition is designed to hold steady in both early and late-game fights by controlling the battlefield while dealing high burst damage.

The choice between Amelia, Colt, and Fai will depend on which heroes you have available and which one has the highest investment. Additionally, if you have Trude or Branze & Bransel at Transcendence 6, you can replace Teo.

Real Time Arena can be accessed by navigating to the [Battle Lobby] - [Celestial PvP] menu, where it appears alongside the other dedicated PvP modes within the Celestial category.
