Learn about Resilience in Seven Knights Re:birth (SKRE). This guide covers what it does, how to increase it, and the best heroes to equip it on.

What is Resilience?

Reduces Crit Damage Taken

Reduces Crit Damage Taken

Resilience is a stat that reduces Crit Damage taken by a set amount. It has no effect on regular damage, but can reduce Crit Damage by up to 15% × 4 slots = 60%, making it an excellent counter to critical hits.

Also Effective Against Crush

Even with 100% Block Rate, heroes with Crush can land attacks by ignoring Block Rate by a set amount, and those attacks may result in Crits. Resilience is also effective for countering Crit Damage from Crush.

TipsTips!Even for heroes with high Block Rate, raising Resilience by a few percent gives a comfortable safety margin.

Great Synergy with PvP Supports

Since it is effective when Crits occur, it is useful for boosting survivability in PvP (PvP battles) where Crit Attackers are commonly used. It is especially recommended for support heroes such as Tanks and Healers.

Generally Not Used in PvE

There are currently no PvE (monster battle) scenarios where Crit Damage mitigation from Resilience is necessary. While the possibility of needing it in the future is not zero, the standard approach for PvE heroes is to aim for score improvement through Damage Amplification.

How to Increase Resilience

Apply Resilience Through Dedicated Equipment

Resilience can only be increased through the Exclusive Option on Dedicated Equipment. Dedicated Equipment comes without any option when first obtained; one of 9 possible effects is applied randomly through Refinement.

Dedicated Equipment Guide

Cannot Be Applied to Shared-Type Dedicated Equipment

Cannot Be Applied to Shared-Type Dedicated Equipment

Resilience can only be applied to Hero-specific Dedicated Equipment. Shared-type Dedicated Equipment — which any hero can equip — has no option slot, so no stat can be applied.

No Other Way to Increase It

Currently, there is no way to increase Resilience other than the Exclusive Option on Dedicated Equipment. It is a stat unique to Dedicated Equipment and does not appear on weapons, armor, or accessories.

Damage Taken Reduction as an Alternative

Damage Taken Reduction on armor main options is an alternative to Resilience. However, Resilience and Damage Taken Reduction are calculated as separate stats and can stack, so rather than using one instead of the other, they are best used together.

Best Heroes for Resilience

Heroes for Tank and Sustain Teams

Sun Wukong

Surviving enemy attacks is critical for Tank and Sustain Teams, making Resilience — which reduces Crit Damage taken — a viable choice. Among these teams, heroes with lower Block Rate who are more susceptible to Crits benefit especially well from Resilience.

TipsTips!Heroes with high Block Rate may want to consider Regeneration, which increases healing received and Barrier durability.

Support Heroes in Physical/Magic Teams

Melia

Support-focused heroes in PvP Physical or Magic Teams are recommended to use Resilience to boost their survivability. Melia is a prime example.

Heroes with Death or Crowd Control Effects

Mist

Heroes that inflict Death or Crowd Control effects rely on surviving long enough to keep reapplying those effects. For this reason, increasing survivability through Resilience is generally recommended.

TipsTips! In specific situations — such as using a Death Team against a Tank and Sustain Team in Guild War — using Dedicated Equipment to compensate for a missing stat can also be a valid option.
