Damage Amplification for PvE Heroes

In PvE (monster battles), Damage Amplification is the best option as it increases the amount of damage dealt. Not only attackers, but support heroes are also recommended to use Damage Amplification to help boost scores.

All Attack (%) as a Compromise Option

Ideally, all 4 options should be Damage Amplification, but if you're short on Tuning Crystals, combining with All Attack (%) is also a valid option. Aim to fill all 4 slots with one of these first.

Best Tunings for PvP Attackers

Damage Amplification or Crush for PvP Attackers

For PvP (player battles), attackers are recommended to use Damage Amplification (increases damage dealt) or Crush (attacks as if the enemy's Block Rate is reduced by the stated value). Choose based on your hero and the current meta.

Damage Amplification for Pure Damage Increase

Damage Amplification is recommended if you simply want to boost your damage output. It increases damage dealt regardless of the opponent, making your attacker significantly stronger.

Crush for Countering Tank Comps

Crush is recommended when you want to deal damage against tank comps with high Block Rate. It's effective in environments with many tank comps, or when you want your crits to land more consistently on enemies with high Crit Rate heroes.

Best Tunings for PvP Support Heroes

Resilience or Rejuvenate for PvP Supporters

For PvP support heroes where survivability is key, Resilience (reduces Crit Damage taken) or Rejuvenate (increases Incoming Healing and Barrier durability) is recommended. Choose based on your hero and comp.

Resilience Works Best for Low Block Rate Heroes

If Block Rate is low, Critical attacks can significantly reduce HP, making Resilience useful. Use Resilience to boost durability for heroes with a low Block Rate.

Rejuvenate Works Best for Tank Comps

Rejuvenate works well for tank comps that rely on healing and Barriers. If Block Rate is maxed at 100% through equipment and the chance of taking a Critical hit is low, Rejuvenate is better than Resilience. It also helps counter Incoming Healing Reduction.

Resilience Works Best for Other Status Effect Heroes

Heroes who primarily inflict Death or Crowd Control status effects need to survive long enough to keep applying status effects repeatedly, making Resilience generally useful. It depends on the hero and situation, but Resilience is a safe default if you're unsure.

In specific scenarios — such as using a Death comp against a tank comp in Guild War — using equipment to compensate for missing stats can be a valid strategy.

Character-Specific Equipment That Can Be Equipped Separately

Dedicated Equipment is character-specific equipment that can be equipped separately from the standard equipment slots. Each hero has different Dedicated Equipment, and the special option effects only activate when equipped on the corresponding hero.

Assign Your Preferred Stats via Tuning

From Equipment Enhancement > Refine, you can add 4 special options to Dedicated Equipment. There are 9 possible effects across three rarities — Uncommon, Rare, and Legendary — and one is randomly applied based on probability.

Re-Refine to Overwrite Stats

You can re-refine an already-refined slot to overwrite it with a different effect. Start by refining all the Dedicated Equipment you actively use, then optimize your options once you've finished the basics.

How to Get Tuning Crystals

Dismantle Shared Equipment

Dismantling shared equipment from Inventory > Dedicated Equipment yields Tuning Crystals based on the equipment's rarity. Once you've collected a decent amount of Dedicated Equipment, actively dismantle the rest.

Obtain a Dedicated Equipment You Already Own

Obtaining a duplicate Dedicated Equipment you already own automatically converts it into Tuning Crystals. For example, getting a duplicate from the Dedicated Equipment Gacha grants 500 Tuning Crystals.

Exchange at the Total War Shop

In the Total War content shop, you can exchange 400 Total War Tokens for 50 Tuning Crystals. If you've finished exchanging Brilliant Skill Enhancement Stones, this is a viable option.

Exchange at the Guild War Shop

In the Guild War shop, you can exchange 120 Pendants of Glory for 50 Tuning Crystals. Amelia's and Diaochan's 6th Transcendence and the Dedicated Equipment selection box should take priority, but once your Dedicated Equipment is well-stocked, exchanging for crystals is a valid option.

In the Weekly Ruby exchange shop, you can trade 150 Rubies for 50 Tuning Crystals. Prioritize Brilliant Skill Enhancement Stones first, but if you have extra Rubies, exchanging for crystals is an option.

Obtain from Adventurer Skill Rewards

You can obtain 2,000 Tuning Crystals each when reaching Adventurer Skill Lv. 175, 185, and 195. These are one-time rewards, so don't forget to claim them.

Obtain from Events

Tuning Crystals may be available from specific events, such as Dedicated Equipment support events. For limited-time events, be sure to complete them before they end.
