A Passive That Activates When the Awakening Gauge Is Full

What Is Awakening Passive?

The Awakening Passive is a passive effect that activates automatically when the Awakening Gauge is full. Once activated, the gauge decreases by 33% at the end of the hero's turn, and the effect ends when it reaches 0. Note that if the gauge is not empty upon Revive, the effect continues.

Affected by Awakening Gauge Increases and Decreases

While the Awakening Passive is active, the hero is still subject to Awakening Gauge increase and decrease effects. Using an Awakening Gauge reduction skill can end the effect early.

On the other hand, the hero using the Awakening Passive should trigger Awakening Gauge increase effects to maintain the passive for as long as possible.

Benefits and Drawbacks of Awakening Passive

Does Not Consume a Skill Turn

The main benefit of the Awakening Passive is that, unlike active skills, it does not consume a skill turn. Using one Awakening Skill normally prevents other Awakening Skills from being used for 2 turns, but the Awakening Passive does not trigger this restriction.

Resistant to Buff Duration Reduction and Buff/Debuff Removal

As a passive skill, another benefit is that it is generally not removed by Buff Duration Reduction, Buff Removal, or Debuff Removal. If the passive effect itself has a turn limit it can be removed, but in most cases it is an always-active effect.

Susceptible to Battle Conditions

The main drawback of the Awakening Passive is that its activation timing is difficult to control. Since it depends on battle conditions, such as Awakening Gauge reduction from enemies or Awakening Gauge increases, its activation can be inconsistent.
