What is Awakening
Awakening System Improvements New!
In the 6/25/2026 patch, it is revealed that the requirements for hero awakening will be significantly revamped. These changes include the required Transcendence lowered to T0 and Skill Enhancements being carried over.

| - Awakening Entry Requirement: The required Transcendence level to access Awakening has been changed from 6 Transcendences to 0 Transcendences, allowing players to enter Awakening content much sooner after obtaining a hero. |
| - Skill Enhancement Data Carry-Over: Skill enhancement progress will now be preserved through Awakening instead of being reset, reducing the burden of Skill Enhancement Stones. As a result, all previously used Brilliant Skill Enhancement Stones for awakened heroes will be fully refunded. (Note: Skill enhancements applied to Awakening Skills are excluded from the refund.) |

The Awakening unlock requirement has been reduced from Adventure (Normal) 14-50 to Adventure (Normal) 4-15, allowing players to access the system much earlier.

Several Fragment Recovery and weekly Awakening missions have also been adjusted, reducing the number of completions required to obtain Awakening rewards and progress.
Is Transcendence Still Recommended?
Generally, it is recommended to Transcend heroes that benefit significantly from the additional stats provided by Transcendence. This is most commonly recommended for PvP oriented heroes, while PvE oriented or support focused heroes typically gain less value from the extra stats.
Awakening Details
Awakening in Seven Knights Rebirth serves as a new power up system that changes a hero’s appearance and enhances their skills. In previous titles, it provided additional skill effects and increased stats, allowing older heroes to remain relevant in the meta.
New Awakening Skill
Upon Awakening a hero, they gain access to a new Awakening Skill. Note that Awakening Skills can only be used once per battle and require a full gauge before they can be activated.
New Sprite and Animations
Awakened Heroes also receive updated sprites and animations, giving them a more distinct appearance.
Max of 2 Awakening Targets
Fragment Restoration missions can be progressed for up to 2 characters at a time. If you want to start Fragment missions for a different character, you'll need to pause one of the active missions and switch to the new one. Note that progress is saved when switching to another hero.
How to Awaken
Complete Fragment Recovery Quest
To awaken a hero, a total of five Fragment Recovery Missions must be completed. Some missions are time gated and may require multiple days to finish. Alternatively, players can spend Rubies to instantly complete a mission.

Collect Awakening Stones
Awakening Stones can be obtained by purchasing in the Weekly Rubies tab from the Exchange Shop or obtained as weekly rewards under repeat Missions.
Awakening Requirements
To awaken a hero, they must meet certain requirements, including reaching 6★, Transcendence 6, and having all skills enhanced.
Use to Awakening Stones
Once all requirements are met, Awakening can be performed by spending Awakening Stones. The number of stones required varies based on the hero’s rarity.
