Top-Tier Magic Attacker Among All Heroes

A Magic attacker who boasts the highest damage output among all heroes. He gains Ignore Defense at Transcendence 2 and a Skill chain-activation effect at Transcendence 6, becoming extremely powerful, so he's a hero you'll want to transcend as much as possible.

Prioritize Awakening Him Above All Else

He was already a high-performing hero to begin with, but his Awakening grants him an AoE attack skill with Binding Rope + Ignore Defense on top of that. As an attacker, he shines not just in PvP but also in PvE farming, making him a hero you'll want to prioritize awakening above all else.

You must meet enhancing skills for any character you wish to Awaken.

② Complete All Fragment Restoration Missions

Navigate to Upgrade > Awaken to enable the Fragment Restoration missions. Complete all 5 missions to unlock Awakening. If you haven't enabled them, they won't count as completed even if the conditions are met, so be sure to enable them first.

Tips!	You can view a Memory Story upon completing each mission. Note that Fragment missions do not need to be completed when Awakening a second copy of the same character.

Up to 2 Characters Can Progress Simultaneously

Fragment Restoration missions can be progressed for up to 2 characters at a time. If you want to start Fragment missions for a different character, you'll need to pause one of the active missions and switch to the new one.

Tips!	Progress is saved even if you pause.

Instant Completion Available with Rubies

Fragment Restoration missions can also be instantly completed using Rubies. The number of Rubies required varies depending on the mission content and remaining count. Since these can be completed over time without Rubies, spending them here is not recommended.

③ Use Awakening Stones to Awaken

Once all requirements from ① and ② are met, you can Awaken a character. Awakening requires a different number of "Awakening Stones" depending on the character's rarity.

Yoongun (Awakening) Strength and Features

Skill Chain-Activation Is Extremely Powerful

At Transcendence 6, defeating an enemy with Skill 1 or Skill 2 triggers the other skill to activate consecutively, which is extremely powerful.

There's even a chance for a combo where a hero revived by Skill 1's kill gets HP Alteration from Skill 2, or a hero revived via Immortality from Skill 2's kill gets Buff Removal from Skill 1.

Strong Against High-Bulk Heroes Thanks to Ignore Defense and Pierce

It's also powerful because his all-attack's 2nd activation deals Pierce damage based on Max HP to 3 enemies. With multiple Ignore Defense and Pierce effects, plus a Buff Duration Reduction effect on Basic Attack, he's a strong attacker even against high-bulk heroes.

First Hero With a Binding Rope Skill

He's the first hero with a Binding Rope effect, which works similarly to the existing Shock effect. Since no heroes currently have Binding Rope Immunity, its strength lies in how limited the counters are, such as Crowd Control Immunity or Debuff Removal.

Best Used in a Team With 3+ Magic-Type Heroes

With 3 or more Magic-type heroes in your team, he gains Damage Nullification on Basic Attack and Skill activation. He also gains all Debuff Removal + Crowd Control Immunity when inflicted with a Crowd Control effect, giving him higher status ailment resistance. Be sure to build him into a team with 3 or more Magic-type heroes.

Weak Against Multi-Hit Attacks

Yoongun's weakness is that his durability mainly relies on Blessing and Damage Nullification, making him vulnerable to multi-hit attacks. Since he lacks Revive, Immortality, or Guts effects, it's recommended to equip him with a Legendary ring.

Bounty Tracker	- Choose this if you want to increase Weakness Hit damage dealt - Being able to target low-HP enemies pairs well with his chain activation

Since he gains Ignore Defense at Transcendence 2 and through Skill Enhancement, using Assassin, which pairs well with the 4-set effect, can further boost his damage output. On the other hand, since his Ignore Defense damage is already quite high, increasing Weakness Hit damage with Bounty Tracker is also a viable option.

If you use Assassin, his post-Awakening passive already grants a 50% boost to Crit Rate and Weakness Hit Chance, so adjust the rest to around 50% so the total reaches 100%.

If you want to make the most of his Binding Rope, raising Effect Hit Rate is an option, and if you want to preserve his Barrier and Crowd Control Immunity as much as possible, raising Effect Resistance is also viable.
