Should You Pull for Yoongun and Trude?

Must Pull Hero

Yoongun is a Magic attacker who boasts the highest damage output among all heroes. His overall performance is excellent, making him an extremely powerful hero, so be sure to pull for him while he's featured on the Pickup Summon.

Transcendence 6 Is Ideal Thanks to Its Excellent Effect

At Transcendence 2, he gains Ignore Defense, and at Transcendence 6, he gains a Skill chain-activation effect, becoming an extremely powerful attacker. Since he benefits greatly from Transcendence, he's a hero you'll want to bring to at least Transcendence 2, ideally Transcendence 6.

Trude Is an Option for Guild War and Total War

With her balance adjustment, Trude gained a Concussion effect and Crowd Control Immunity, and can now support Universal-type heroes with Barrier generation and Debuff Removal. She's become easier to use, making her a solid option for Guild War and Total War.

Transcend Her If You Plan to Use Her in PvP

At Transcendence 2, she gains self Barrier generation, and at Transcendence 6, she gains an Always Active 100% Crit Rate effect, allowing her to show her true potential. At Transcendence 6, she becomes viable as an attacker and gains more freedom in her equipment choices, so Transcendence is important if you plan to use her in PvP.

By obtaining the Rockstar Costume through the Costume Summon, you can get Trude's Rockstar Costume, profile image, frame, effect, 2D animated illustration, and special skill animations, voices, and lobby scenarios. If you want these items, you should pull for them.

Rerun After Initial Banner is Unknown

Legendary Costumes that appeared in the past currently cannot be unlocked with Rubies. Although the possibility of resale is mentioned, the timing is undecided, so we recommend pulling for it now if you want it.

Required Rubies Increase with Each Summon

As the number of summons increases, the required Rubies also increase. Since the drop rate for the Rockstar Costume is low, decide how far to pull considering that up to 33,000 Rubies may be required at maximum.

It is also an option to pull partway specifically for summon tickets and materials. If you are lucky, you might obtain the Rockstar Costume, and even if not, getting 40 Hero Summon Tickets for 1,000 Rubies on the second pull is better value than usual summons.

Trude is a durable, late-blooming, wide-area Physical attacker effective in PvE and PvP. She excels as a Tank team attacker in PvP and is valuable in Adventure and Infinite Tower for wide-area attacks. She is also suited for Ruby and Nightmare farming.

Yoongun's Impact on the Meta

Magic Teams Get Stronger

He's a powerful attacker who shows his true potential with 3 or more Magic-type heroes on the team, greatly strengthening Magic Teams. Since he has multiple effects that are strong against durable heroes, such as HP Alteration, Ignore Defense, Pierce, HP-based damage, and Buff Duration Reduction on Basic Attack, Tank and Sustain Teams are likely to become less favorable.

Damage Immunity and Immortality Become Easier to Counter

Since he has Buff Duration Reduction and Buff Removal effects on Basic Attack, buff effects like Damage Immunity, Immortality, and Link become easier to strip. If you want a hero to make the most of these effects, it's better to raise their Effect Resistance.

Trude's Impact on the Meta

Counter to Crowd Control Heroes

With 3 turns of Crowd Control Immunity and the ability to grant Debuff Removal to a Universal-type ally on her 2nd Basic Attack or when using a skill, she's an excellent counter to status-ailment heroes like Mist or Dongyoung. She's mainly an option for attacking in Guild War.

Also an Option for Total War

Her balance adjustment raised her overall performance, making her an option when building a team centered on Universal-type heroes for Total War. If you can inflict Concussion on 4 enemies with your opening move, you can fight at a considerable advantage.

Yoongun gains Damage Nullification and all Debuff Removal + Crowd Control Immunity when Crowd Controlled if you build 3 or more Magic-type heroes into his team, so pair him with Magic-type heroes.

Alternative Hero: Freyja

Freyja has similar performance an AoE attack with HP Alteration, Skill chain-activation, and Buff Removal making her a solid alternative. You can swap her in, but using both strong attackers together is also an option.

She has effects that support Universal-type heroes, so it's best to build her into a team alongside them. If you want to further boost Trude's survivability, pairing her with Radgrid is also a good option.

Alternative Heroes: Pallanus and Sun Wukong

Alternative heroes include Pallanus and Sun Wukong, who are likewise attackers for Tank and Sustain Teams. Both have the edge in overall performance, but Trude is useful if you specifically want a Crowd Control countermeasure.
