Skills & Moves Are Story-Dependent

Story-Dependent Skills

The availability of your skills will depend on the story, meaning that you cannot unlock certain skills unless you progress the story. Advance the story to be able to access to more powerful and damaging moves!

Some Skills Are Unlocked Automatically

As the unlocking of skills are story-dependent, some skills are automatically learned once you reach a specific part of the story. Do remember to slot them in the palette!

Use The Training Room To Learn Masteries

Learn Masteries Using The Training Room

Masteries can only be learned using the Training Room and are upgraded like normal skills. The Training Room is unlocked during the Android Saga Episode 2, and can be modified to unleash your character's true potential!

Slot Skills Into The Skill Palette

Skill Palette

Unlocked Skills need to be in the Skill Palette for them to be used during combat. Same goes with Know-hows as you need to slot them in in order to enjoy their passive benefits.

Requires Resources & Training

Skills Require Resources

Learning or upgrading skills most of the time requires Z Orbs and D Medals. Take time to farm these resources during Intermissions so you can unlock stronger and better versions of your current skills!

Z Orbs Needed Per Character

As each character's Skill Tree is different, you have to collect a lot of Z Orbs to unlock most of each one's skills. Prioritize the main characters' skill trees first before allocating Z Orbs for the Supports.
