What Are Friendship Levels?

Affects Supports' Battle Performance

Support Characters Unique Moves & Techniques

Support Characters with high friendship enjoy a larger support gauge. This makes it easier for you to call on their support as using a support move consumes a bit of the support gauge.

3 Item Rewards

3 Item Levels

Once a certain Friendship Level is reached, characters will reward you with items. Note that each Character has different Item Reward Levels. Each character also has a maximum of 3 Friendship Rewards.

Requires Soul Emblems To Access

DBZ Soul Emblems

You need to unlock a character's Soul Emblem to be able increase its Friendship Level. Do substories, progress the story mission, or defeat bosses to get more Soul Emblems!

How To Raise Friendship Levels

Give Gifts To Increase Friendship Level

Give Gifts To Increase Friendship Levels

You can use gifts to increase a character's Friendship Level by a certain amount. Once your Friendship Level reaches a certain level, you will receive an item as a reward. Each character has three Friendship rewards to give.

How To Give Gifts

1Pause the game and access the Main Menu
2Select "Community"
3Select "Soul Emblems"
4Choose a character and press the button for "Soul Emblem Details"
5Press the button for "Gifts"
6Select a gift, then press "Yes" to confirm

Gifts Also Increase Proficiency

Giving gifts will also increases a character's proficiency, or their contribution to a certain Community Board. You can still give gifts to a MAX Friendship character to increase their proficiency.
