Leveling up is probably the most obvious way of improving your character's stats. By leveling up, your HP, attack, and defense increase. You can get EXP by defeating the enemies or make progress in the story.

Cooking can be a good way to improve give yourself a status boost. If you have ingredients lying around in your inventory, make sure to use them before a major boss battle to improve your chances. Also, you can increase the effectiveness of cooking by raising the level of the Cooking Community.

Use Soul Emblem & Community Board Effectively

Soul Emblems

Soul Emblems are used on Community Board to increase Community Level. By increasing the Community Level, you unlock Community Skill which gives variety of positive effects such as bonus EXP or ATK increase.

By placing the Soul Emblem on the Community Board in certain position, you gain bonus which significantly increases the community level. For example, when you place Tien, Piccolo, Vegeta, and Goku next to each other, you get bonus called "From Enemy To Friend".

When you give present to your character's Soul Emblem, the Soul Emblem's Friendship & community level increases. Each present item increases one of the community so think carefully on which present to give.

Soul Emblems

You can get Soul Emblems for each character that appears in Dragon Ball Z Kakarot. Many of these Emblems are obtained during the main story, but some can only be obtained in Substories! Make sure to do Substories regularly so you can fill out your community board.
