Tips for Beating Friday Castle Rush Jave
Burn Immunity and Stun Immunity are a Must
The enemies inflict Dragonflame and Stun, so be sure to include heroes with Burn Immunity and Stun Immunity in your team. Ryan, who can reduce cooldowns, and Sieg, who can boost Physical Attack, are recommended, but if they're not trained yet, Evan or Yui can be used as substitutes.
Use Physical Attacks Targeting 3-4 Enemies
All enemies in Ancient Dragon's Castle have Magic Attack Resistance, Single-Target Attack Resistance, and Quintuple-Target Attack Resistance, so attack with physical attacks that target 3-4 enemies. Taka, Ryan, and Sunran are especially recommended, but if you don't have them, it's better to train the Rare hero Feng Yan instead.
Tips! | Keep in mind that Rachel's Skill 1 remains a single-target attack until she reaches 6th Transcendence. |
|---|
Clear Rounds 1-2 Quickly First

Castle Rush has 3 rounds, with the boss Jave appearing in Round 3. Since you need to maximize your score within 70 turns, use your Main DPS and Sub-DPS to clear Rounds 1-2 quickly.
Prioritize Blind, Barriers, DPS Debuffs, and More
Once you reach Round 3, use Ryan or May's Blind, Evan's Barrier generation, and Rachel's DPS Debuff as countermeasures against Jave's critical attacks. Ideally, enhance Ryan's Skill 1 to give him Physical Attack Reduction.
Tips! | Train Rachel to 6th Transcendence, where Skill 1 becomes a 3-target attack, so that her DPS Debuff lands on Jave. |
|---|
Increase Damage with Buffs and Debuffs
Next, use buffs and debuffs to increase your attackers' damage. It's recommended to apply the buffs/debuffs with the longest duration first.
Wear Down Enemy HP with Your Attackers

Once buffs and debuffs are set up, use the attackers in the back row to whittle down enemy HP. Even if you used their skills during Rounds 1-2, in most cases their skills will be available again by the time you've finished setting up.
Advance Enhancement, Evolution, and Other Upgrades

To increase your score, training such as Enhancement, Evolution, and Ultimate Enhancement is important. In particular, it's recommended to prioritize Ultimate Enhancement and Skill Enhancement for your attackers, as this makes it much easier to boost your score.
Best Team Examples
Intermediate-to-Advanced Taka Team
Team Comp Formation: Balanced
This is a physical team example that attacks with Taka and Ryan as its two attackers. If your Taka is more built up than your Sunran, this build is recommended.
Tips! | Jave has lower Max HP compared to Dellons and Spike, so Sunran's HP-based attack is a bit less effective here. |
|---|
Target Stats
It's recommended to lower attackers' Speed so they can receive buffs for longer, but if Ryan is 5th, his cooldown reduction won't line up properly, so make Ryan 4th and Taka 5th.
Tips! | If your attackers are getting knocked out, raising DEF or HP through Hero Potential or equipment is also an option. |
|---|
Best Equipment & Rings
Biscuit is a Spellweaver, so a status ailment ring is recommended for her. The others should use Avenger gear, but that makes them easier to take down, so at least equip Sieg with a Ring of Authority. Depending on the situation, a Ring of Authority can also be an option for the other heroes.
Recommended Pets
| Ideal | Alternative | Alternative | Low Rarity |
|---|---|---|---|
Windy | Eirin | Igris | Sherry |
For pets, Windy, who can inflict Boss Vulnerability, is the most recommended. If you don't have her, use Eirin or the collab rare pet Igris as a substitute.
Alternative Heroes
| Main | Alternative Hero | Notes |
|---|---|---|
![]() | Yui | Early-game Burn Immunity |
![]() | Evan | Early-game Stun Immunity |
![]() | Feng Yan | Early-game 3-Target Physical Attacker |
Sunran | Alternative 3-Target Physical Attacker |
If Sunran is more developed than Taka, swapping her in may increase your score. If Ryan or Sieg aren't developed yet, it's fine to swap in Yui or Evan, who are used in the Power Up Dungeon and Raids.
Skill Usage Order
To make the most of the Damage Immunity granted when Taka uses her skill, the trick is to alternate skill usage between Taka and Ryan as much as possible.
If your attackers end up getting defeated late in the battle, adjusting the timing of Ryan's Physical Attack Reduction skill is also an option.
Intermediate to Advanced Sunran Team
Team Composition (Formation: Balanced)
This is an example Physical team that attacks with Sunran and Ryan as its two attackers. If Sunran is more developed than Taka, this composition is recommended instead.
Tips! | Compared to Dellons and Spike, Jave has lower max HP, which makes Sunran's HP-based attack somewhat less effective. Depending on your investment, Taka may score higher instead. |
Target Stats
For attackers, it's recommended to lower Speed so they can receive buffs for longer, but making Ryan 5th will throw off the CD Reduction timing, so set Ryan to 4th and Sunran to 5th.
Tips! | If your attackers keep getting defeated, raising their DEF or HP with Potential or equipment is also an option. |
Recommended Equipment & Rings
Biscuit is a Spellweaver, so a status ailment ring is recommended for her equipment. The others are recommended to use Avenger gear, but that makes them easier to take down, so at the very least, Sieg should equip a Ring of Authority. Depending on the situation, a Ring of Authority may also be an option for other characters.
Recommended Pets
| Ideal | Alternate | Alternate | Low Rarity |
|---|---|---|---|
Windy | Eirin | Igris | Sherry |
For pets, Windy, who can inflict Boss Vulnerability, is the most recommended. If you don't have her, use Eirin or the collab Rare pet Igris as a substitute.
Alternate Characters
| Main Pick | Alternate | Notes |
|---|---|---|
![]() | Yui | Early-game Burn Immunity |
![]() | Evan | Early-game Stun Immunity |
![]() | Feng Yan | Early-game 3-target Physical Attacker |
Taka | Alternate 3-target Physical Attacker |
If Taka is more developed than Sunran, swapping her in may increase your score in some cases. If Ryan or Sieg aren't developed, it's fine to swap in Yui or Evan, who you'd use for Power Up Dungeons or raids.
Skill Usage Order
Sunran's Demon Face stacks +3 times as each WAVE progresses, so you can clear WAVE 2 using the skill's automatic activation at 6 stacks. Sunran's Awakening Skill targets all enemies and doesn't deal much damage, so avoid using it.
Tips! | This skill order focuses on keeping Ryan alive, since he acts fourth in the turn order and has no Revive skill. |
