Take The Quest At South Of Tsutsu Plains
This quest can be located near the south east from the Tsutsu Plains, in between the wetlands. Talk to the monk there to start the mission.

The group of Mongols you meet at first is a very small group, you can take down a good portion of them by utilizing Chain Assassination or Stand Off Streak to narrow down the number first before confronting the rest.

You can jump directly out of the house window to find a half-eaten mushroom at the back of the house to find this was the source of the man's suffering. Inform Hanaoka of this to proceed.
8. Killing Mongol Groups Near Tuber

The Tuber you will need to collect is found near where group of Mongols are wandering about. This area is surrounded with overgrown grasses, making it a perfect cover to sneak by and perform an assassination to lessen the enemy number before starting your assault.
