Izuhara Bamboo Strikes - 7 Locations
Komatsu Bamboo Strike - Map & Location
Located south-west of Komatsu Forge and directly beside the Sashimono Banner Monk.
Tsutsu Bamboo Strike - Map & Location
Located east of the Kishi Grasslands Survivor Camp and north-east of Kishi Village. The Bamboos are located next to Rustling Bend's upper bend.
Kashine Bamboo Strike - Map & Location
Located west of Wanderer's Pass. Climb the mountain and proceed upward until you reach the White Dye Merchant. You'll spot the Bamboos just before the Merchant's house.
Hiyoshi Bamboo Strike - Map & Location
Located within Hiyoshi Springs. Fast Travel to Hiyoshi Springs and walk a bit north to find this one.
Komoda Bamboo Strike - Map & Location
Located within Komoda Town. Travel to the southern part of the town until you reach an enclosed area guarded by a watch tower. You can spot the Bamboos upon entering the area.
Ariake Bamboo Strike - Map & Location
Located south of Houren's Pasture. Head south towards the stream. You won't miss this one as it's beside the only building in the area.
Azamo Bamboo Strike - Map & Location
Located within the walls of Azamo Bay. You might want to clear the village first with the side quest "Unfinished Business" before you can access this Bamboo.
Toyotama Bamboo Strikes - 6 Locations
Otsuna Bamboo Strike - Map & Location
Located within Omi village. You can get to this Bamboo Strike while playing the mission, "Ghosts From The Past".
Akashima Bamboo Strike - Map & Location
Located just north of Fort Ito. Use the north exit, descend from the hill and turn left. You can spot the Bamboo overlooking the coast.
Umugi Bamboo Strike - Map & Location
Located north-west of Umugi Cove. Fast Travel to Umugi Cove then exit through the northern gate. Continue to hug the western coast to spot this one.
Yarikawa Bamboo Strike - Map & Location
Located just across the Yarikawa Stronghold. Fast Travel to this area, then immediately after spawning, head straight to reach this Bamboo. You can only access this area after finishing the mission "The Walls Of Yarikawa".
Kubara Bamboo Strike - Map & Location
Located north of Lord Shimura's Camp and north-west of the Turtle Rock Shrine. Fast Travel to any of the 2 locations and ride north until you spot a tower. Go to the tower and beside it you'll find the Bamboos.
Kushi Bamboo Strike - Map & Location
Located south-east of Little Monk's Pond and east of Benkei's Falls. Locate the tower overlooking the east. The Bamboo should be right beside that tower.
Kamiagata Bamboo Strikes - 3 Locations
Kin Bamboo Strike - Map & Location
Located north of Kin Sanctuary. From the middle of Kin Sanctuary, head north and cross the bridge to the island. The Bamboo is located west of the island.
Endless Forest Bamboo Strike - Map & Location
Located just beside the Kin Lighthouse. You can go to this place by heading east from the Twilight's Edge Overlook, and hugging the coast.
Sago Bamboo Strike - Map & Location
Located south-east of the Sago Mill and south of the Derelict Mine. You won't miss this one as it's just right beside the tower on the highest point of the mountain.
Bamboo Strike Rewards
Increases Max Resolve
Testing your sword and successfully cutting through the Bamboo Strikes will increase Jin's Max resolve. Resolve is a highly valuable resource that can help you win fights. Increase it as soon as you can!

Get The Sacred Mountain Messenger
As a reward for your efforts slaying the Bamboo in the island of Tsushima, you also get a Sacred Mountain Messenger Mask. This is rewarded immediately after you have unlocked the last Resolve reward.

Test Your Sword Technique In A Mini Game
As you venture the land of Tsushima, you will occasionally find batches of roped bamboos, used to practice swords. You may also take a swing at this with a simple mini game, push the button prompt on the bamboo to successfully cut through them in a swing!
Timing & Order Is Important
Getting the proper button sequence right and fast is the key in this minigame. The difficult part is that the button prompts disappear once you press the first button. Try to practice by inputting the buttons as fast as you can.
3 Sequences Per Bamboo Strike
All Bamboo Strike locations in the map present 3 patterns for the player to try. Note that you can take them as many times as you want as there is no limit to how many tries you take.
Learn Exploration Techniques To Track Unfound Bamboo Strikes
By learning "Wind of Resolve" Exploration Technique from your Samurai Skill Tree, you will be able to augment your Guiding Wind to guide you to any unfound Bamboo Strikes. You may assign which points of interest to track from the Map menu by pressing right on your D-pad.
