Located In Toyotama Region
Message In Blood side quest is found in the Toyotama region. Search for Yuna in Ichi's Inn, north of Smuggler's Estuary and south-west of Mamushi Farmstead.

Use Focused Hearing To Track Enemies
Focused Hearing is a useful skill to have when clearing out enemy camps. This skill lets you detect enemies and help you track their movements so you can take them down quickly.
Keep Away From Flash Bombs
Some of the Mongols will try to throw flash bombs at you. Keep your distance from them as they will white your screen out, making it impossible to see what's going on for a few seconds.
Message In Blood (Altan) - Boss Fight Tips
Use Water Stance Against Altan
Altan will carry a big golden shield in this fight. To counter this, switch to Water Stance. This stance will help you deal with his shield & use it to your advantage.

Make sure to dodge or side step when Altan attacks with moves that have a red glint. You'll prevent heavy damage to your HP bar when you do this.
