All Duels Are In Toyotama
Note that all the duels counted in the Collections tab are all located within Toyotama. You need to unlock Act II first before you can tackle them all. There are 5 Duels and 1 Mythic Tale related to this Collection.
Check Out The Main Story Walkthrough Here!Duel Among Spider Lilies
Located north-east of Umugi Cove. Site is also near a Fox Den and Moss Light Inn.
Duel Under Falling Water
Located south-west of Kishibe Village. The dueling ground is located directly in front of the waterfall. You can go around the waterfall or use the cliffs to go down.
Duel Under Autumn Leaves
Located east of Yamabushi's Peak. Head down a path towards the sea and you'll see an area covered with red trees.
Duel Of Crashing Waves
Located north of Urashima's Village and directly next to the Cloud Ridge Shrine. This one requires a bit of platforming. Traverse the ridges and use the rocks to climb and hook your way across. Find a path that descends to the beach. You'll find it directly in front of the path leading to the shrine.
Duel In The Drowning Marsh
West of Ijima Farmstead and directly next to the Akashima Haiku. This spot is relatively easy to find as it is out in the open and you can use a Horse to get here.
Duel On The Mirror Of Sacred Light
South of Omi Village and next to Tradition's End. You can enter from the north and make your way down to reach the monastery entrance.
Duel Rewards & Unlocks
Unlocks The Kensei Armor Set
The Kensei Armor is the reward for completing all 5 Duels and defeating Kojiro. This set can be upgraded 3 times and provides you with a huge boost to Ghost Weapon damage.

- Increase Resolve gains
- Ghost Weapons deal more damage
- Ghost Weapons by reduce enemy damage and defense
Duel Tips & How To Win
Study Your Opponent First
You might get excited to pummel your enemy once the duel begins, but take time to watch their movements before attacking. Try to bait them and guard or dodge so you can see their attack patterns and timings. Observe and know which attacks are blockable and which are not.

Attacking relentlessly won't give you enough to win. Anticipate the attacks of your enemies and try to guard at the right moment to parry. Then follow up with △ and a quick combo for heavy damage!

Resolve can be used to either heal or use unblockable combat arts. It is highly recommended to store it and use it to heal as some enemies might surprise you with unblockable combos.
Samurai Clan Armor Is Recommended
The Samurai Clan Armor provides you with incredible defense and high health. This gives you more staying power during duels. Note that once upgraded, the armor provides a significant boost to your Resolve whenever you take damage.

Face A Powerful Opponent In A Duel
Duels are battles, where you face off against a powerful opponent in an 1 on 1 duel. Most of these battles are actually part of the story, but some may require you to venture into side quests as well.
Directly Connected To A Mythic Tale
The 5 Duels that you need to do in Ghost of Tsushima are directly related to a Mythic Tale, "The Six Blades of Kojiro". In this side quest, you need to duel 5 straw hats and Kojiro. Completing the quest rewards you with the Kensei Armor, an outfit that greatly increases your Ghost Weapon damage.
