You will receive the Samurai Clan Armour when you go through The Tale Of Lady Masako. This is a good armor to invest early on in the game as it boosts health, defense, and regains Resolve - which you can use to heal or deal damage.

The Sakai Clan Armor greatly improves your damage while giving you decent health to stave off the damage. It also grants a huge boost to Standoff, making it easy to finish off enemy encounters as you can easily Terrify nearby enemies.

How To Unlock The Sly Cooper Armor
In order for you to unlock the Sly Cooper armor, you will need to acquire the following pieces of gear:
Sly Cooper Armor Costume Requirements
- Gosaku's Armor (Ocean's Guardian Dye)
- Crooked Kama Headband
- Sly Tanuki Sword
Unlocks A New Trophy
Once you equip Jin with these gear pieces, you will be rewarded with the Cooper Clan Cosplayer Trophy!

Gear To Alter Jin's Abilities
The armor set you equip can alter Jin's abilities in and out of battle. Master armor set effects so you gain an advantage in a variety of fights and different enemy encounters.

Armor pieces and armor sets will let you customize Jin's appearance to help him in certain situations. Whether facing enemies head-on as a samurai, or sticking to the shadows as a ghost, your armor accentuates your chosen approach to encounters!
Upgrade Armor To Unlock Helmets
Some Armor sets unlock new helmets once you upgrade them to a higher level. For example, Upgrading the Samurai Clan Armour to level 2 gives you a Samurai Kabuto, which you can then further improve once you reach level 3. Do note that Helmets are cosmetic items and they do not give you any benefits in combat.

Armor is divided into heavy and light categories. These categories can help you emphasize your play style. For example, heavy armor can be used to defend against head-on attacks, while light armor allows for sneaking around silently!
