The Thief - Quest Location
Located In Toyotama Region
The Thief side quest is found in the Toyotama region. Speak to Junshin near the Koshimizu Farmstead, south of Benken Falls and north of Kawamata Village.

Legend Increase, Charm & Resources
Successfully completing the side quest will reward you with a minor legend increase, as well as a minor melee charm, and 2 pieces of silk for upgrades.

3. Follow Mai & The Ronin - Tips
Don't Assassinate Early Or You'll Alert Target
When you need to follow Mai, make sure to keep your distance and only assassinate the targets when they've moved separately from the group. If you alert your target, you have to start over.
1st Ronin Moves Towards Stone Marker
The first ronin you can assassinate will move towards the right - towards a stone marker. Make sure to move behind them to assassinate them quietly.
2 Ronins Move Towards Cart
The 2nd and 3rd ronin will move towards a fallen horse and broken cart. Use "Chain Assassinate" to take care of both of them quickly.
The Thief - Boss Fight Tips
No Boss Fight Featured
This side quest does not feature a boss fight. Instead, all you need to do is to follow the mission's objectives to progress and clear the mission.
