Go Through The Lake From Agheel Lake North
The Murkwater Cave can be reached from the Agheel Lake North Site of Grace while detouring to the left of the Lake. When you reach the Lake, turn left and follow the narrow path.

Cannot Enter When Yura Quest Occurs
After speaking with Yura near the ruins of the old castle, head to Murkwater Cave to find Bloody Finger Nerijus. You must defeat Nerijus to be able to enter Murkwater Cave. It is recommended to head there first before talking to Yura.

Start at the Site of Grace and follow the path. Use your torch to make it easier to navigate since it is dark in the cave. You can buy one from the merchant at the Church of Elleh.
Church of Elleh - Location & How To Get There
When you reach the large area, the path will split between left and right. If you head right, you can find Patches (Boss).
When the treasure chest in the cave is opened, Patches will appear and force you into battle. You can get Cloth Garb and Cloth Trousers from the chest.
When you his HP to 50%, Patches will surrender. If you wait for a while without attacking, Patches will give you a choice. If you choose "let bygones be bygones," Patches will become a merchant. It is possible to kill him, although it is not recommended because there will be more events after this.
After Patches surrenders, return to the entrance and head back to where Patches was to purchase items from him. Stonesword Key and Missionary's Cookbook [2] can be purchased.

How To Beat Patches (Boss)
Avoid Spear Attacks By Rolling
Patches wields a spear, which has a long reach and can hit you even if he's a distance away. It is difficult to attack if you get too close to him, so try to counterattack while avoiding his attacks by rolling.
Stamina Decreases When Hit By Kicks
His kick attacks decrease stamina, making it hard to attack and evade. Be prepared to evade when Patches raises his leg.
Move Away From Patches When He Blows A Fog
Patch periodically creates a fog, making it difficult to locate him. Rather than attacking blindly, move away and wait for the fog to clear up. You don't take damage if you touch the fog.
