If you advance the main story until you get to Leyndell, Ashen Capital, Boc the Seamster will disappear making it impossible to progress through his quest line. It's been confirmed that Boc will disappear after resting in the Site of Grace. Even if you arrive at the Ashen Capital, if you do not rest at the Site of Grace, it is okay.

1. Head East From The Site Of Grace: Agheel Lake North


Map Location	Boc's Location

From the Site of Grace: Agheel Lake North in Limgrave, head east towards the small patch of woods there. Be careful though as there are cavalry enemies that patrol the area.

2. Attack The Bush And Talk To Boc The Seamster

When you approach the small patch of woods, you will hear a voice asking for help. In that area, there is a small brown bush that when attacked, will release the curse and Boc will appear. Talk to Boc and he will tell you that he's heading to Coastal Cave to retrieve something.

3. Talk With Boc At The Coastal Cave

Coastal Cave can be found by going down the beach from the Site of Grace: The First Step from the cliffs there. You will find Boc lying near the Site of Grace inside the cave. If you have beaten the Demi-Human Chief already, you can give Boc the Sewing Needle.

4. Defeat the Demi-Human Chief

Head to the end of Coastal Cave and defeat the Demi-Human Chief. After that, return to the entrance and talk to Boc. You can then give him the Sewing Needle.

5. Talk To Boc At The Site Of Grace: Lake-Facing Cliffs

Talk to Boc near the Site of Grace: Lake-Facing Cliffs in Liurnia and he will then offer to customize your armor for you. From this point, you can ask Boc to customize your armor for you for free.

If Hyetta Is There, Boc Will Not Appear

If Hyetta is near the Site of Grace: Lake-Facing Cliffs, Boc will not appear there. In that case, offer Hyetta a Shabiri Grape. Take a rest at the Site of Grace and Boc will then appear as Hyetta will move to another location.

6. Talk To Boc At East Raya Lucaria Gate

Rest at the Site of Grace: East Raya Lucaria Gate in Liurnia and Boc will appear there. If you rest again, Melina will appear and talk to you.

7. Talk To Boc At The Site of Grace: Altus Highway Junction

Rest at the Site of Grace: Altus Highway Junction in Altus Plateau. Boc will appear there and you can get your Armor customized. Resting there again will initiate a conversation with Melina who will appear there.

This Step Is Skippable

This step is entirely skippable. It's not going to affect the outcome of Boc's quest line whether you do this step or skip it and head to The Site of Grace: East Capital Rampart instead.

8. Find Boc At The Site Of Grace: East Capital Rampart

※ It's recommended to read about the routes first because at this point. From here, Boc's storyline will branch out. After the conversation with 'What do you really think?' line, triggering a loading screen with actions such as resting at the Site of Grace, will lead to Boc's disappearance.

Boc is in the same room as the Site of Grace: East Capital Rampart. After talking to him, the Quest Line will branch out to 3 possible routes: Boc survives, Boc dies, and Boc disappears. We recommend to pursue the route wherein Boc survives so you can continue to get free Armor customization.

9. Talk To Boc With Demigod-Type Of Armor In Your Inventory

A new conversation will be available when you talk to Boc while having a Demigod-type armor that can be customized such as Radahn's Lion Armor. After this, you can give him the Gold Sewing Needle and he will customize your Demigod-type armor for free. This step can be done anytime between step 6 and step 8.

Cannot Be Done In Site of Grace: Lake-Facing Cliffs

You cannot do this step at the Site of Grace: Lake Facing Cliffs. You will need to find Boc somewhere in East Raya Lucaria Gate.

10. Continue Talking To Boc


After you are able to adjust the Demigod-type armor, you will get a new conversation with Boc about him wanting to serve you as his Lord. Accept this and he will change his term for you from Master to My Lord.

Use the Prattling Pate "You're Beautiful" in front of Boc to help him gain confidence in himself. This will stop Boc from wanting to be reborn again and survive. By following this, Boc will continue to customize your armor for free.

You can find the Prattling Pate "You're Beautiful" in the village, northeast of Site of the Grace: Craftsman's Shack in Altus Plateau.

2. Route 2: Boc Dies Ending Walkthrough

Raya Lucaria Grand Library	Boc Dies When You Take Rest

After listening to Boc talk about his dreams of rebirth, offer him the Larval Tear when the option is presented. Boc will then move to Raya Lucaria Grand Library, but he will be human now but one that cannot talk. If you rest at the Site of Grace, you will find him dead.
