Get W-Engine for Strongest Character
In Zenless Zone Zero we recommend buying a W-Engine that matches your character’s specialty and isn’t already in your collection. The W-Engine’s effect activates only when equipped to a character with the matching specialty, so make sure it's for the right character when you buy it.

When getting items at the Gadget Store, it is recommended to choose items that are versatile. If you do not have a specific purpose, such as upgrading a W-Engine you own, we recommend the W-Engines above. They are better than the other ones that have the same Specialty.
No Need to Buy B-Rank W-Engines
B-rank W-Engines are not recommended for purchase. It is easy to obtain them from gacha and they do not have great effects, so it is best not to get those.
How to Get W-Engine Chips (Store Currency)
Weekly Boss (Notorious Hunt)
The Notorious Hunt weekly boss is recommended for collecting W-Engine Chips in Zenless Zone Zero. Rewards can be received up to 3 times each week, so don't forget to complete them every week.

W-Engine Chips can also be obtained by dismantling W-Engine of Rank A or higher. You cannot dismantle a locked W-Engine, so make sure the W-Engine you want to dismantle is unlocked.
Prioritize Upgrade over Dismantle
Use duplicate W-Engines you got from the gacha for upgrading W-Engines. Since a maximum of 5 upgrades can be made, only dismantle if you have 6 or more duplicate W-Engines.
Gadget Store Location and Unlock Conditions
Follow the Road to the Right From the Video Store
The Gadget Store in Zenless Zone Zero is located at the end of the road to the right of the Video Store. After exiting the Video Store, head towards the Noodle Shop and continue along the path. Proceed until you see the subway, the building on your right will be the Gadget Store.
Complete the Hare and the Proxy
The Gadget Store will be unlocked after completing "The Hare and the Proxy". In order to unlock the Gadget Store, you need to progress the main story.

W-Engine Can Be Purchased
At the Gadget Store, you can purchase W-Engines by consuming Reinforced Anomaly Components (an item that unlocks the W-Engine's level cap) and W-Engine Chips (currency to buy W-Engines). When purchasing, be sure to choose what your character needs.
Dismantle W-Engine
You can dismantle W-Engines you no longer need to obtain EXP materials and W-Engine Chips (currency to purchase W-Engines). Note that you need to consume Dennys to dismantle a W-Engine.
