What is a Chain Attack?
Activate when Enemy is Stunned

Chain Attack is an attack skill that can be activated if you Stun the enemy when there are 2 or more Agents standing by. By pressing the button corresponding to the character when the 2 icons appear, the character becomes Invulnerable and can launch powerful attacks.

Chain Attack can be used twice against an Elite Enemy and three times in a row against Bosses. The battle will only slow down for a few seconds, so be sure to press the character button quickly.
How to Use Chain Attack
1. Stun the Enemy
When you attack an enemy, Daze will accumulate in the gauge at the bottom of the enemy's HP. When Daze accumulates above a certain level, it becomes Stunned and the gauge changes to a rainbow color.
2. Apply Skills with Heavy Attack Effect
Chain Attack can be activated by applying Skills with the "Heavy Attack" effect to a Stunned enemy. When the gauge changes to a rainbow color, apply Heavy Attack Skills. Basically you just need to keep hitting the stunned enemy with Basic Attacks.

Tips for Activating Chain Attack
Activate in the Order of Support → Attack for Strong Enemies
The order in which Chain Attacks are activated is also important, and it is recommended to activate them first using Support characters who can apply buffs, then Attack characters who can deal the most damage. This way Attack characters can increase the damage of their Chain Attacks, so keep this in mind when facing strong enemies.

If you activate the Support character's Chain Attack last, you can immediately activate Quick Assist after it ends. If the character can be buffed with Quick Assist, it is also a good idea to make the Support character the last one in the Chain Attack.

Attack Multiple Enemies with Stun Character's Chain Attack
Chain Attack itself is also an attack that easily accumulates Daze, so if you attack multiple enemies at once using the Chain Attack you can Stun many enemies. It is also powerful to activate the Stun character's Chain Attack in areas where there are many enemies.

Incapacitated and Defense Reduced
When enemies in Zenless Zone Zero are Stunned, the enemy becomes incapacitated and their DEF decreases. This will give you a chance to deal a lot of damage, so switch to the Attack character and attack.
Recovers Over Time
Stunned enemies will resume their actions after a certain amount of time. It will wake up when the grayed out gauge runs out, so keep an eye on the gauge when attacking.
How to Inflict Daze Fast
Increase Impact Stats
Impact is a status that affects Daze accumulated on the enemy. The value varies depending on the character, but Impact can be increased using Drive Disc or W-Engine equipment.

Attack With Stun Character
Characters with a Stun Specialty have a high Impact status and are good at accumulating Daze. When aiming for a Stun, attack with a Stun Specialty character to efficiently accumulate the Stun gauge.

Daze can be accumulated significantly by using Defensive Assist, which can be activated by Perfect Assists. When you want to accumulate Daze, we also recommend aiming for Perfect Assists.
