Interrupt Effects and Advantages

Can Make the Enemy Flinch

Zenless Zone Zero's interrupt is an effect that stops the enemy's movements. If you activate it right before the enemy attacks you can stop the attack, making it useful in battle. It's difficult to activate at the right time, but it's worth remembering how it works.

Some Enemies Have Higher Resistance

Weaker enemies that appear in large numbers during Comissions can be interrupted with basic attacks, but bosses can only be stopped with certain effects such as Attribute Anomalies.

Anti-interrupt Gives Agents Resistance

Anti-Interrupt is an ability that makes it harder to be staggered. Many Agents gain Anti-Interrupt when using Special Attacks, allowing them to ignore certain enemy attacks and continue attacking.

How to Trigger Interrupt

Adding Attribute Anomaly to Physical Attribute

The Physical Attribute Anomaly inflicts the Assault effect to interrupt enemy actions and deal a large amount of physical damage. The advantage is that you can interrupt the enemy even if it does not have Physical Attribute Weaknesses.

Attribute Anomaly Guide

Inflict Anomaly with the Enemy's Weakness Attribute

Three types of Attribute Anomalies: Shock, Corruption and Burn can interrupt enemies if the enemy is weak against the Attribute. It's better to know the enemy's weaknesses so you can activate it to stop the enemy's attacks.

How to Check Weaknesses

If you have fought an enemy once, you can check their Weaknesses and Resistances in Phaethon's Archive at the Workbench.

Interrupt with Bangboo

Sumoboo's Active Skill has a strong interrupt effect. While it can be used to interrupt enemy attacks, it won't work against most bosses. Additionally the skill attacks are slow, making it difficult to actually hit the enemy.
