How to Activate Corruption Effects
Accumulate values through Ether Attribute attacks
By accumulating Anomaly Buildup with Ether Attribute attacks, you can enter the Corruption state. The accumulated value is displayed on the right side of the enemy's HP bar, so if you are aiming for Attribute Anomaly, be sure to check it before attacking.
Corruption Status Lasts Approximately 10 Seconds
The Corruption state lasts approximately 10 seconds. When the Corruption state ends, the Anomaly Buildup will be reset, so you will need to build it up again.
Deals Additional Damage When Attacking
Attacking an enemy in a Corruption state again will cause additional damage from the Ether Attribute. This additional damage occurs approximately every 0.5 seconds and continues until the Corruption state is removed.
The Damage is 0 if You Can't Attack
Additional damage due to Corruption will not occur unless you attack. After entering the Corruption state, actively attack and move around so that you can continue to deal damage.
Ether Attribute Interrupts Enemy Behavior in Weaknesses
Enemies whose Ether Attribute is Weaknesses will have their actions interrupted when they enter the Corruption state. You can check the enemy's Weaknesses Attribute from Phaethon's Archive.

How to Calculate Corruption Damage
Corruption Damage Depends on Anomaly Proficiency
Corruption damage depends on the character's Anomaly Proficiency value. If you apply Corruption to a character with high Anomaly Proficiency, the damage will be greater. Keep in mind that characters who attack after being inflicted with Corruption have no effect on Corruption damage.
Tips for Activating Corruption Efficiently
Create an Ether Attribute Character
If you are aiming for Corruption, create a party with characters that has Ether Attribute. The attacks that have Ether Attributes differ depending on the Skills, so be sure to check the characteristics of the Skills of the character you own.

We recommend supporting Shock with Bangboo's Additional Abilities and Skills. If you add Bangboo to the team such as Resonaboo, it can greatly increases Ether Anomaly Buildup, it will be easier to enter the Corruption state.

At the current point in time with Zenless Zone Zero, it is not possible to meet the condition of having 2 characters with the Ether Attribute. Its true value will likely be realized once new characters are added and the Additional Ability can be activated.
Strengthen Anomaly Mastery
Increasing your character's Anomaly Mastery will make it easier to accumulate Attribute Anomaly, allowing you to grant Attribute Anomaly faster. Anomaly Mastery can be raised with the main status of specific W-Engine or Drive Disc VI.
