The best item you can get for the Residual Signals are the Encrypted Master Tapes. There is no limit to the number of times you can exchange them, so get the Encrypted Master Tape if you want a limited character. If you already have a limited character, getting that character's Signatured W-Engine is also an option.

Master Tape Exchange is where you can exchange Polychromes for Master Tapes required for the gacha. When you pull a gacha and you don't have enough Master Tapes, these will be exchanged automatically.

The Signal Shop is a shop that allows you to exchange items with Residual Signals and Fading Signals which are obtained from the Gacha. They can be exchanged for various items such as Enhancement Materials.
Some Items are Limited
Some items in the Signal Shop have a limit to how many times you can exchange them per month. If you use up the entire limit, you will not be able to exchange it again until it resets.
